Thank you. Trying to make my sd card storage as internal, the path got confused with the internal storage and the downloads duplicated in both storages: the sd card and the internal. So downloads from playstore became really slow. This explanation fixed the storage path automatically, but it still is downloading really slow so I suspect there is still something wrong. The download is taking too long,10 minutes for whatsapp. I still don't know if it will be stored in sd card. Any suggestions?

from what i've heard a lot of apps from the playstore are not able to be stored on an sd card, only some can. sd card are mainly for files, videos and photos.

Hey, I was wondering I have a HTC phone that has like almost no storage on it I figured I could solve that by putting all the needed device storage on the SD card so the rest of the space could be used for downloading things but sadly I don't think that's possible but I'd love to maybe get your input on it because you seem like the kind of person who would know this

It hasn't worked for me. New apps still going to internal storage. Only the ES File Explorer itself went to the SD card.
did you change your default download location from es file explorer.
in some case most of the app goes to sd card but some app don't allow to download in sd card like paid and subscription type game

where did you downloaded means from web Browser or from app.
if you downloaded from web Browser you need to change download path

If your going to download from browser then use uc browser they allow to change location. you can watch video here : czcams.com/video/r2SKC5N2TKs/video.html
if your going install app from google play then you have to check your phone, if they give option for that. these option available in some latest phone .
LG Tribute Dynastym didnot work. Just kept downloading stuff in Internal, had to manually move to SD card.
