***** All that shit is rehearsed though. I've seen Craig Ferguson hosting a panel at comic con. He was so fucking concerned with being funny and cool that I absolutely loathed him.
I don't think it was rehearsed, but they usually tape 2-3 hours and only show the best 45 minutes or whatever the run-time is. This is how all the shows do it. Go to a taping yourself and sit in the audience, it's usually free and a really good time.
To much censorship, and pretty much everything is rehearsed in television in the U.S. Right?
The secret: it is a 4 minutes long story. Graham allows the guest to talk for that long, no rush, no interruptions, without the need to make jokes and trying to be funnier than the guest.
Or forcing guests to participate in some childish games which includes food spitting or eating some awful animal parts.

As a Yank - I'm not into any of the late night shows here in the States (yeah - maybe Conan, and Jimmy have their moments), but Graham Norton has them beat hands down.

recently - she was there for the tour rehearsals. She confirms this happened - they had to get security beefed up after because although this was harmless there are plenty of nutters out there who you wouldn’t want wandering in

As funny as Williams' story is to listen to, Kendrick's wide-eyed and wide-mouthed reactions to his narrative are even more hilarious to watch. I can't keep my eyes off her. There are times she looks terrified over what Williams might say next.
This is why commas are important. I saw the title "Robbie Williams tells hand job story with Justin Timberlake..." and thought: "OMG! Justin Timberlake gave Robbie Williams a hand-job!" Imagine my disappointment to find it was just a random crazy lady.

I do like Robbie Williams nowadays,props where they are due,the man knows he was never a saint,and makes no apologies about it. Most ''superstars'' would feel reluctant to tell story of this nature because of 100s of different ways it ''might'' blow back.

Two months later, I'm watching this again, and laughing more at Anna Kendrick's reaction than at the story itself. It's like with every line Robbie utters, a little bit of Anna's mind gets blown. Her little off-screen squeaks are just as hilarious as anything on screen. Then at the last line of, "That's Maureen from the pub," whatever amount of Anna's mind is left by that point, just blows away completely, leaving her in this stunned, near catatonic state. Dan's just rolling with it, Justin is visibly wondering what he would do in a similar situation, but Anna melted down! It's quite hilarious.
