The Russian's 'glacial advance' isn't an attempt to take Khakiv, it is merely an attempt to tie Ukrainian forces in that area. Chip is talking out of his backside.

If Russia goes on an all-out Offensive. They can break through the Ukraine lines in a month or two. Ukraine recruiting started too late. But they still have a chance buy just sending the recruits to the front line and let them learn there. The trial of the Crocus city concert hall terrorist goes on trial next week. So, Putin will be occupied with that next week on Wednesday. Everyone in Russia will be watching that trial.
