- every cefiro video i get a lot of questions regarding the setup of this car and have been asked a few times to do a dedicated video to explaining this car, well here it is
let me know in the comments if you like this sort of video and i can do the same with other cars

Your ceffy is life! Such a great car! One of my first was an a31 cefiro! Wasn’t built but it had been slammed and was always good fun.

The stock colour on your one is nice, even if the paints beat up, must of looked great when you first picked it up.

I got such a hard-on for this car.. everything about it is perfect. Keeping the 90's look, wheels look amazing on it and that fuckin sound 👌 and massive respect to you for keeping the car for so long 👍

It was so raw and fun to drive had been built in Japan and totally drift spec rb20det manual with a a Subaru sti turbo external gate, nistune ecu, 1 rear muffler, fixed back seats and a full cage made 230rwkw
had the same autech front bar was like a sparkle pop brown with a very dodgy made metal vented bonnet
Was such a fun car I bought it back 6 months after selling it
they are great cars, the ugly duckling of that era sedans
I love you have no radio I've had my 180SX for 20yrs now and no radio just love to listen to the engine and the flutter but sitting in the old's shed. I'm now in Asia working and look a Cefiro with a RB25DET swap there are many to choose from and cheap so sure to keep living the JDM dream.

i love this car so much, currently i have an e36 sedan that i dont love, but want a z32 because its the chassis i love! this is so motivating because youve had it for so long and thats what i want out of a chassis

This inspires me so much. I was born and raised in Nz and picked mine up as an auto 20e from an old lady in a supermarket car park for 1200. Went on to swap in a 20det and man conversion. Had no hand brake for a good 6 months haha. It’s been over 8 years since I’ve owned it and I’m now in Australia and have been looking for so long for one. Keep it up bro

Mindiej93 sadly I parted with her when I moved here. I have tried to track it down and the last o heard it was track spec and got ridden off a few years back. Melbourne mate

biggest regret of my sell was selling the cefiros, my first car was an rb20det manual a31(was auto but i manual swapped it myself) didn't know what i had until it was gone and went through a few others after that, none as good as the first and i regret getting rid of them all

@@MindieJ that is indeed true. Watching your videos again makes me want to buy another one. Also never knew about the whole non vct rb25 that's strange as but inspiration for me. Going to start looking at cefs to buy now (I live in New Zealand so they aren't hard to find at all)
yeh doing a non VCT RB25 swap means zero wiring which is what i refuse to deal with when modding cars
Oh god yes I am the exact same as you on that one I refuse to touch wires. Good to know I'll keep you posted on my build once I've got an engine and body together to begin!

GUNT HEAD less = more when it comes to styling, haha yes the noise is actually the exhaust leak from the cracked manifold, it’s audible in the last clips as I had a microphone in the engine bay 😉

an S13 is more of a trade sideways haha, pretty much just a 4 door S13
it’s either get one of these or a Laurel of some kind c33 maybe. Can’t go wrong with either IMO lol.

So basically this is the same as my setup except your head would flow better with the cams ect. I have a s0 25plust making 290kw with all stock internals. Hopefully getting head work done will get abit more grunt out of the o8u

Im a university student from Turkey, i love these japanese cars but in my country this car called "Laurel Altima" and comes with CA20S carburator engine and has open diff.
I saved enough money to buy one of these and want to take some advices from you. I wanna do some drifty things with this car and want to learn the mods on this car. I drove my family's car a lot but I havent "that much" experienced real wheel drive car before.
First of all what is your low cost main advices? Can i mod this car enough to improve my driving/drifting skills with low budget? What should I do? Thanks.

Mindiej93 yes, of course. My ca20s has broken and I do not want spend money on single cam shaft carburetor engine. Rb25det is dream but ca18det economic. Therefore, probably I will swap ca18det. I would love to hear your suggestions.
@@ersansahinkir no definitely dont waste your time or money on a CA20 haha, ive had a CA18det 180sx here in Aus and theyre a very old engine now and are prone to spinning bottom end bearings so dont push it too hard, RB25 is your best bet, though they are getting old now aswel, what will you be using the car for?
Mindiej93 thanks, I agree with you :) but ca18 is cheap. If you are saying that ca is a waste of time, waste of money, I will put a rb block or i will sell the car :) Are you with me? Put rb or sell car? and i guess pros and cons of s13 to a31. I usually will use the car on street, daily or weekend fun. Because there are only 4 track in my country and not allowed to drift :(
@@ersansahinkir CA will be fine just maintain it regularly until you can save up for an RB25, S13 and A31 are very similar, S13 is just more snappy due to the shorter wheels base

oh yes 2 things i forgot, ECU is a factory RB20 item with a Nisstune board, has been tuned by DrDRift and Chequred Tuning
