I take the MOTO GUZZI V85 TT TRAVEL for a test ride at the Get On! Adv Fest 2022 in South Dakota presented by ‪@RevZilla‬ and ‪@ReverMoto‬ .
This bike is a fun bike to ride and I believe it's a good beginner adventure bike to get into and I break it all down.

Motto Guzzi has been around for a bit, last year was their 100 year anniversary. They are part of the Piaggio Group of companies. The bikes are still hand built in Italy.
These bikes are an "inbetween " adventure bike. But with the great fuel mileage super comfort of the seat they are hard to beat. Vibrations are almost non existence and the shaft drive is cool. The suspension will get you where you want to go but you may have to slow down a bit over others like the KTM.
The windshield do suck.... hence I built my own and it is much much better than stock for protection.
They are a little finicky in hot ambient temps due to being air cooled.

Moto Guzzi nowadays is only the brand/name and logo of the old manufactory....no more company exists, Piaggio has taken Moto Guzzi, solved the company and is using their rights on the brand: design center of Piaggio is in Pasadena CA, chassis are developped in Noale by Aprilia (also part of Piaggio group), components come from China and Vietnam and only the assembly of bikes is in Mandello (hometown of Moto Guzzi).....but who cares, great bikes either........the best marketing operation of Piaggio is that no one really knows that there is no more Moto Guzzi Company.....but the spirit goes on.....

@@massimilianobernich2739 yes Piaggio is keeping the Motto Guzzi brand alive. I hope with that parts are a bit easier to get but even my Kawasaki ages over a month to get parts if they need to be ordered.

Piaggio in MotoGP is doing very well with Aprilia… a lot of know how is being shared and the engine keeps the unique Guzzi soul in a great well rounded package! A pretty solid motorcycle group…

@@massimilianobernich2739 I don't know where you are getting your information. Moto Guzzi is still designed in Italy and even though Piaggio owns the company now, the new Moto Guzzi factory was just built in Italy and they are still all designed and built there. Yes, there are Chinese parts on them, just as there is for every motorcycle in the world including Harley Davidson. That's not necessarily bad as the parts are built in very modern manufacturing shops to the same specs that the original USA or Italian or British, of Japanese design calls for. The only problem we consumers can complain about it that Chinese metal is very poor in most cases. The workmanship is good but if they don't import better metal, the Chinese parts can be quite inferior.

@@spydie ....i'm owner and just well informed and interested about Moto Guzzi issues.....design and development nowadays is in Noale (VE) the place where the factory of Aprilia is (another big player owned by Piaggio....But it's a fact that "Moto Guzzi Spa." has been solved by Piaggio many years ago just keeping the rights on the name "Moto Guzzi". Italian trading registry is public and everybody can see that "Moto Guzzi Spa" has been dissolved. If u buy a Moto Guzzi in Italy in bike papers the brand is "Piaggio Spa". Mandello del Lario was and still will be the place where the bikes are and also in future will be assembled.
