Magic squares have fascinated professional mathematicians as well as mathematical hobbyists for over 4000 years. The Lo Shu magic square with its uniqueness captures the symmetry and beauty of mathematics, Dürer's square backdrops his famous engraving Melancholia, and Benjamin Franklin constructed them to keep his mind sharp. We will explore a few magic squares and unlock some of their mysteries.

some of the pattern on resonance plate it's really similar to turtle back

What is the purpose of magic squares? What do you do with them?

Fasinating. I saw a magic square from
Ramanujam voor birth days (or any random numbers).
a,b,c,d
d+1,c-1,b-3,a+3
b-2,a+2,d+2,c-2
c+1,d-1,a+1,b-1
Now my question is. Is this kind of magic square with algebratic number also posible for a 5x5 or a 6x6 magic square?
So that so can construct any of them by just filling in random numbers?

Dear sir if you don't mind then I give you a challenge. Will you like to accept my challenge? If yes then my challenge is make a 9 box magic square with number (1 to 10-11)or (2 to 11-12) or you may escape some number during filling the magic square box and the horizontally, vertically and as well as diagonally addition must should be 16 and also make another 9 box magic square with same condition but their addition must should be 17.
