Yeah he's very expressive yet seems like such a nice bloke... and an absolute monster of a boxer. This fight made me feel very uncomfortable and seemed like nothing more than a cash grab for a beating, so am hoping that Fury doesn't back down and actually fights Usyk next... but you never know with him and the random stipulations he likes to make.

Agree, Usyk and Tyson are both class acts. Tysons just trying to sell the fight, they’re no-doubt good friends behind closed doors. The last person Fury fought with genuine dislike was Wilder, every fight since is just scripted. He’s even good friends with AJ, during one of Tysons documentaries AJ phones him and they have a chat as friends.

It would be interesting to see the crowd reaction if Usyk fights Fury in the UK. As an English man I will be cheering on Usyk. A great fighter, likeable character and all-round humble guy. I feel it would be great to see the nice guy come out on top. As much as I enjoy Fury's humour, it's his other antics, like contradicting himself & acting like a diva which let's himself down. A humbling at the hands of Usyk would do the Fury's some good.

@FesterHueyFarley Lots of fighters move up and down weight classes and you do realise Usyk is bigger than Wilder nowadays. Also Usyk has a great resume and has much more experience than Fury and has been much more active over the years. Furys beat Klitschko in a hugfest when he was near retirement age, a one trick pony with a glass jaw in Wilder and Chisora and Whyte. I'm not sure where all this confidence in Fury is coming from, hes a very good fighter but I think Usyk beats him on points. I fancy Joyce to knock him out as well

As someone who is native English but speaks a second language. The most difficult part is people with a strong accent and/or speaking fast and using slang.

Agreed. Fury won't be a pushover of course, Fury's a very canny boxer himself. But when it comes to speed of movement and conditioning, Fury's not in the hunt - and he knows it. There's no way Fury can win a fairly judged fight on points against Usyk, so he'll have to go for a TKO at least. Not an easy task because, as Mike Tyson keeps pointing out, Usyk is hard to hit.

The trainers now are shit so its just a contest of whos the tallest, and strongest. Also most of the talent has moved to mma, and NBA. Since those sports are lower risk, and boxing started of as a poor mans sport where people fought in bars, and illegally for money. Its all just a delusion of modernism. People had wayyyy more fights and trained much harder, and more often back then, and practice makes perfect. The past fighters didn't avoid anyone, and had hundreds of bouts. Adapting to far more fighters, and styles. Far more competitive. Nowadays you see fighters like Derek Chisora with some 20+ losses journeyman who owns a rolex and is worth multimillions. He doesn't have to be good

It's a tall order for both fighters for different reasons, Usyk has got to somehow land shots without getting in clinching range of Fury too much.
Fury isn't a Joshua, Joshua is one dimensional, he can only fight using the long guard, he doesn't know inside close up fighting, because there's a wrestling element that comes into it, Usyk must be trying to play mind games if he's telling people that he thinks it's going to be easy, he's not a stupid guy.

Go and watch some MT fights who fought men bigger than him almost every fight, and watch what he does. Usyk won’t knock Tyson out but Tyson won’t knock Usyk out either, if it goes to points Usyk wins it for me
