Strfkr has to be my favorite when it comes to current times. Tame Impala is larger than life. And maybe I would consider Kevin Parker a greater genius. But Strfkr has this personal, more raw feeling. Im so addicted to every album

You're on the money. Tame Impala has this raw, nostalgic, but timeless quality that penetrates into the collective. But STRFKR's sound has this enchanting ability to create a mirror back at our emotions. What makes STRFKR so emotive and nostalgic is how I, the listener, am looking back at my own timeline on an emotional level. In contrast, Kevin Parker is has excelled at making psychedelic rock much more accessible and ethereal. They're similar insofar that they operate on opposite ends of the same empathic spectrum. Just my two cents.

I've been listening to Strfkr since I saw them at a houseshow in 2007 and they have always been one of my favorites. I love this lowfi, almost stripped-down sound in the first half of this album. I've been listening to it constantly.
