Just brilliant! I was traveling in 1989, it was a wild time with amazing music and incredible memories. RDF were right there in the thick of it. The cassette of Hot on the Wire was essential listening.
just back from feral fest, rdf rocked my world there on saturday, were you there? yes the hot on the wire cassette, i think i still have mine, somewhere.
@Cursed8Blessed I have fond memories of those days. When festivals were free (remember Castle Morton), didn't require 'security guards', or have cash points!. Also remember seeing Revolutionary Dub Warriors @ Grey Horse also, fond memories of them. For some reason my memories of this period in my life are very hazy!!
Was there Castle Morton .history was made.when Glastonbury used to have a fringe traveller festival next to it and you could literally walk into the main site.different times.that generation our generation probably experienced more freedom then our children will.
Weren't they from Reading? I saw them in Edinburgh a couple of times. Once they misplaced their drummer on the way up so they picked up a hitchhiker and put him on the drums. Suffice to say it wasn't the tightest gig I ever saw.
