Agreed.Saw RDF at Glastonbury '92?,scorching summer, great bands and had a more subversive feel than the watered down, middle class shite that the festival has nowadays.

Takes me back to 'The Venue' in London with Dreadzone, 1993 i think it was, Great times, stayed in a house with a story written from the ceiling on the top floor which went all round the house underlining itself to a point whereby the end of the story reached the bottom of the ground floor skirting boards at the front door. Great gig though. Dreadzone had Dreds then. Awesome.

just got back from alchemy2012...was very good, old style. Best I've been to since about 1991. RDF played & were awesome. Also playing there was Here & Now, Nik Turner, Daevid Allen, Back to the Planet, P.A.I.N, plus loads of other great bands. I miss the old times so much, before Queen Bitch Thatcher breathed her poison. Still can't believe they did what they did...BUT there are a few good fezzies worth going to. But - no herbs for sale on whole site!!! Still, worth a look next year.
Imagine compressing, under tremendous pressure, all that one has searched for from the earliest of internet use into the palm of one's hand...then to open that hand and find a beautiful diamond. That is how i felt listening to your gift this evening.....Thankyou....i only wish i could in some way return, to any degree, such kindness....Power to you...Peace....
:-) I was just listening to this and thinking about that gig - then I saw your comment and it made me smile. It was really amazing, definitely one of my favourite gigs I ever went to as well. Changed the way I thought about music and life and everything really. RDF really rocked!
Yeah, reminds me of London in the early nineties, some very social explosions in Hackney Wick and all that squatted houses. And social issues. Good times anyway. Good music.
@@Davidnumber23 if we ever get back to normal I will be asking Chris to play great days gone but here and now and we all have a cause to sand and shout even though my legs are weary but my heart and bass line pumps strong
