I purchased these tickets weeks ago not realizing a Legend would be joining!!! Just saw her today and she was magnificent ! Her soulful voice provides such warmth and fun to the character! the cast was amazing as well!! Love that she was a muse from Hercules and now Hermes! If you can please get your tickets!

However, once both hit the media all hailed Patti like she did something so amazing and bad ass while Lillias was portrayed as (wait for it because it's so original)...The Angry Black Woman. If i had been there i would have called 911 thinking she needed medical attention. No wonder she doesn't want people recording it! I have no desire to go see the show anymore!
Watched her hadestown not knowing about her. Initially I thought she was given an opportunity for some equity consideration because her role represents a male god. But her presence was just a banger. I realized in the next morning that her voice is ringing in my head so had to buy another ticket before leaving NY😂
Oh and one more thing for those of y'all calling Lillias a Karen. When you're an old school cool talented black woman you're the opposite of a Karen! If you want to see a Karen go look in the mirror.
