We've considered representing linear systems of equations in an augmented matrix form in previous videos and examined how to solve them using simple row operations to manipulate them into a row reduced echelon form.
This video provides 3 additional examples of finding the solution of a system of linear equations after the augmented matrix has been manipulated into row reduced echelon form. We don't work through the row operation details, but instead focus on identifying basic variables, free variables, and constructing the system of equation solution.

Sorry for the small typos in part (c) of this problem. The row reduced matrix should be:
1 0 5 0 7 1
0 1 7 0 -4 -9
0 0 0 1 1 3
This typo doesn't change the conclusion in terms of basic variables and free variables but it is an error and could be confusing if you noticed it. Thanks for watching,
Adam

Thanks for the help! Only complaint is in example "c", in Arr form, should entry (1,5) not be 7? (8-1 != 9)
the one below it should also be -4 instead of 4
good job
