bro my name is iko💀💀💀
So you weren’t just “dumb” that’s some sort of learning disability that was accidentally influenced wrong by a smart child
Common signs of autism are slow speech development and taking everything people say literally.
Nah fr
@@spiwolf6998hi. Thats me
I'm in my middle 30s and I STILL have problems with taking everything literally. I'm not nearly as bad as I used to be, but it was definitely a major issue for me once upon a time.
@@spiwolf6998actually, I have autism(very high on the spectrum) and apparently I didn’t start talking till I was around 5 either. And when I was younger honestly I’d probably fall for that, but I’d also have asked my parents about it
"I didn't even think you could have ever had Autism, you never showed any signs!"
Please this is so real 😭💀
I felt that
Said my parents when I told them me and my therapist had gone through the symptoms so I told them I wanted to be tested.
As a diagnosed autistic I can confirm this person definitely has autism
@@TheGtagAcid oh absolutely! This is shit I would’ve done had I been told this.
Its adorable that the kid wanted to help out instead of being snarky and arrogant
Most smart kids arent even snarky
wtf are you yapping about
@@vaporwavvez As someone with a very smart bf I agree. Some are but in general people are often jealous and project being arrogant onto them.
Smart people are usually helpful.
Taking things literally and begining to talk at 5 are two signs of autism, interesting!
Exactly my thoughts!
We got same brain
My thoughts exactly
Yeah that kid is probably on the spectrum.
Yep that what I did as a kid, and I got diagnosed for it recently lol
Welp the smart kid tried to help 💀
Yes💀
A For Observation
Smart kids often struggle to explain things in an understandable way because it's basic knowledge to them lol
I turned this feom 3.6k to 3.7k
@@mahinoriartthat makes sense
I don't think they were weird or dumb; I think they're autistic. Hope they sorted that out.
Absolutely!
Not sure there's much to sort out with autism. You just kinda gotta vibe with it
@klauds6375 maybe not exactly sort out, but once you recognize it, you can learn a lot more about yourself and its easier to find coping skills for most things
They aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.
And this isn't me being ableist. İ myself am autistic and have struggled with ADHD for my entire life, which sucked because i was undiagnosed for 16 years.
All that to say, just because you're autistic doesn't mean you can't be stupid. After all isn't the whole definition of stupid being a slow learner?
@@klauds6375yeah
Ok but I was like that as a kid, I was not dumb, I have an autism diagnosis
To be fair the two aren't mutually exclusive. Sincerely, somebody else with an Autism diagnosis who is also dumb.
Literally everyone does nowadays it feels like
@@mariepayann yeah, because it wasnt researched enough back then. Yknow in the late 90s they thought kids got autism because parents didn't love their kids enough, they also blamed vaccines and baby milk formula, and they rarely took cases of autism literally. Not to mention the fact that they treated autistic people like savage animals who needed to have their behaviors corrected, which honestly makes me sick. The reason it seems "everyone is autistic nowadays" is because it wasnt taken seriously or researched enough back then. Now that more people are able to see doctors about it, and doctors have more research done on it, its being diagnosed more.
Not to mention that autism and other neurological disorders are usually hereditary as hell, so naturally when autistic parents have kids, some of their kids will likely be autistic as well. For example, my parents are neurodivergent, me and my 3 siblings all have different neurological disorders from ADD to autism, hereditary disorders will naturally increase as the years go by due to reproduction.
@@mariepayann i don’t have an autism diagnosis
@@mariepayannthey don’t, buddy. it’s still a very small minority of the population that is diagnosed with autism. that being said - many more people NEED to be diagnosed with autism. especially women. it’s UNDERdiagnosed. we’re only recently getting better at diagnosing people who have it bc it’s being researched more and the criteria’s have been changed so as to be more inclusive. women are basically horrendously mis- and under- diagnosed with just about everything. we’re beginning to fix that and so of course we’re seeing a massive uptick in diagnosis’.
also helps that autistic people are more accepted by society then they have been in the past. so they’re louder. they don’t feel so much need to hide their diagnosis. ofc there’s still much improvement needed but the changes as of late certainly explain why you might think stuff like this.
also - in the end, does it rly matter if everyone’s diagnosed?? the point of a diagnosis is to allow you to find treatments and reasonable accommodations for whatever condition you have - this is to help you live a more normal life + hopefully allow you to work if that’s possible. if a large proportion of the population get diagnosed with autism and that in turn allows them to access help that makes them happier or more fit to work - then that’ll only help society in the long run.
I remember when I was a kid, we had a teacher on maternity leave, and when she came back, she was absolutely broken beyond repair emotionally, but she did her best not to reveal it to everyone else, but I knew something was wrong before we all left the classroom, I remember giving her a big hug and saying, whatever happened, I'm sure you didn't mean to bad things happen sometimes, and that's ok, she started crying and saying, that I just wanted to have a baby that was mine. I didn't know what that meant. Cause I was just a kid, but I know what I said to her, I said, you will one day, and when you do, I'm sure that they'll be absolutely wonderful, and you will be the greatest mom in the world. You're already the greatest teacher, eventually, she had a baby girl and named it after me as I got older. I realized what actually happened turns out she had a miscarriage, and apparently I somehow, without realizing, comforted her, all I knew was that she was hurt and distraught, and I didn't understand why I so I wanted to do my best to make her feel better
that makes me wanna cry, i love when kids accidently help someone more then they can ever know
You were a wonderful comfort to her.
I remember seeing my 1 teacher cry while we were lining up after break. I was 9ish at the time. I went up to her and asked if she was ok and if she needed a hug, to which she responded by chewing me out from a dizzy height and yelling at me to mind my business. I was embarrassed and shocked and started bawling bc i didnt expect THAT. She later apologized but i lost all my respect and sympathy for that betch that day. I'm glad your kindness was well received and that your empathy was welcomed with grace 🩷

I was the weird kid who barely talked to others, but when I did talk I was extremely matter-of-fact, I always drew pictures, and was obsessed with anime, science, and goth shit. But then there was the „I love animals“ weird kid who… barked at me the literal first second they met me and tried to play tug of war with my jacket… like a dog. Anyways, that’s how I became the second weirdest kid.
"Graduated at 12"

Do you think that there is never a kid who is able to learn academic things before everyone else?
Highly intelligent children can graduate early, that's not unheard of.
@@justsomeone2391nobody said that? It's just rare.
Most likely from middle school which is still early
No but that last one is a great roast
As a kid who was without a doubt what most would call a prodigy, I laughed a lot but in all honesty it’s not bad to have things like that when your young. I was a smart baby and started talking very early, but struggling like that teaches you lessons I wish I would have learned earlier instead of later
When i was a kid i overheard one of my classmates say that 'I didnt sign up for this!', talking about homework. So i thought homework was something that people signed up for. One day my mom asked me if i had any homework, I told her that i didnt because i didnt sign up for it. She laughed so hard and i didnt understood why
For the longest time i believed j was nonverbal until age four and then able to speak. I was good at speaking when i started, and i thought for years i was just dumb.
Recently though i found out that i was actually incredibly vocal until i was ‘kidnapped’ by the state and rehomed. I had a massive vocabulary and had wonderful understanding capabilities, and i could recognize when other people were sad and could comfort them, mainly my mother because i didnt know i was going to be taken away, but she did.
I cant wait to see her again in a year and a half and I can honestly say that i will trust a woman who fights to keep her children over a woman who fights to take another woman’s children away from her.
Tell me how it goes. I’m happy you’re reuniting with her
Look at how good that mango looks…
Very concerning yet hilarious 😅
The weirdest, creepiest and grossest thing the weird kid did at my school was in 7th grade he spit in my friends mouth. Out of no where. Just spat in her mouth. It was absolutely disgusting.

As soon as they said “I didn’t start talking until I was 5” I thought “developmental disability” since that’s one of the main signs. In this story it definitely was but with my mom, she simply didn’t talk because she had no reason to. Her older brother, up until mom was about 6 or 7, always talked for her😅 My grandma told me anytime my mom would want something my uncle would go up to her and say “mom, baby want ‘x’”😂 Then they had to tell him that she needed to start speaking for herself since he was 2 years ahead of her and couldn’t speak for her in school. Funnily enough my mom is very vocal about her needs and doesn’t dare hesitate to say anything. I, on the other hand, dare to hesitate and hold back on just about everything, and instead I make small jokes or just bottle it up until it comes out in small amounts or I just burst lol I wasn’t always like that though, just a thing I developed as I got older

Weird kid at my school doesn't wear deodorant (we are in high school) he is in honors English with me (said honors English is pointless) and he uses chatgpt on essays.
He is also in band with me (we both play the flute) I can hardly handle the smell, he doesn't tune his instrument, thinks he's better than me because he's been playing for longer, doesn't check the key signature, rushes, has terrible posture (crossing his legs while playing hunching over) and he doesn't listen. I am section leader, so fist chair flute, he is second chair, I have good sound, good posture, and actually tune my instrument. One time third chair flute congratulated me for doing well with a solo during practice, and smelly kid thinks third chair is congratulating him for playing a low f. I had to play a low oboe solo at the beginning and end of that song, not easy for a flute to play. Sometimes I want to whack him in the face, but I'm happy today because he wasn't here for most of the day. I can not wait until he wakes up one day and figures out how terrible of a person he is.
Some more information: this kid doesn't listen to anyone, he has that "I know everything and you're too stupid to understand anything" mentality.
I go to church to him, and we have seminary in the morning, on fridays, we get breakfast at seminary, and as of this week, we have a new rule because of him and it is: only take ONE thing for breakfast until everyone has had one.
He will be on his third round while the rest of us are eating our first, my sister has shouted at him to wait for everyone to have one before he goes into seconds and thirds, but he doesn't listen. His MOM shouted at him that time too.
Also, his whole family (besides one of his sisters) doesn't put on deodorant as well he says its "against his religion" we are bolth LDS, it is not against our religion.
Ok their is a kid like that in my band but they are a trombone, omg bro reeks. I sit in front of him because he is first row trombone and I play bassoon, he answers questions as long as possible. He is kind of racist and homophobic, he thinks he is friends with everyone. He thinks he's the smart kid in math (one time he tried to answer everything and the teacher didn't let him, so he said "this is torture for the smart kid") even though he messes up a lot. He's STUCO president because the lower grade kids voted for him and he won't shut up about it.
He's also a Nazi.
That is a very smart child, who said that because it is the truth

Autistic. 😢 I feel that. I wouldn't talk to my mom, but I would with short answers if prodded or screamed at. I usually just shugged, nodded, or shook my head when answering her. But I would have full conversations with my dad, who realized while teaching me how to read from encyclopedias, a few thesaurus, and dictionaries mixed in. That I was different and smart in a verbal and physical way. Meaning I can watch or be told how to do something and execute it almost perfectly. I'm a mimic if you will. ☺️ I was writing by four and reading by myself at three. I was at a fifth grade reading level by 6 and 11th grade by 9. He realized I was dyslexic and got me hooked on phonex to help. He was the only one that treated me like a person unlike my mom who signed me up for special classes that I basically used as homework time or a study hall. We just need a little help with social interactions 😅 I am very literal, too. So I always clarify when tasked with something just in case 😊😅

Side note we got stuck in the school elevator together( it broke often) he told me he liked thick girls like me and tried to shoot his shot, I'm not big but I I'm tanky, even so I've never felt more uncomfortable in an elevator( we were stuck for 5 mins).

The weirdest thing that the weird kid did at my school was smack my friends butt, harass her everyday, nonstop staring at our you know whats, telling us inappropriate things (like how he thinks we look sexy and that he wants to do it with us etc), never leaving us alone, and most importantly, never getting caught. He was the A+ angel that all the teachers loved so everyone said we were overreacting and that we probably misunderstood. He continued for about a year until I got fed up and smacked him in the face. The weird kid in my school was really something. When we were around 12 years old, someone bumped his chair while we were having an ICT lesson, which caused his mouse to jump while he was clicking. No big deal. So about 5 minutes goes by and he asks to go to the toilet. He then comes back to the classroom with a piece of shit in his hand, no toilet paper or anything, just fingers wrapped around the log, and launched it at the kid who bumped his chair. He then tried to sit down and continue while everyone, including the teacher, was just watching on in amazement. Took the teacher a few minutes to come back to reality and kick him out the class. He was suspended for a couple of weeks and was universally hated after that.
