I'm glad you brung this up. I feel like defenses have caught up to the 11 personnel spread and have established ways to deal with it. Football is a cyclical game, and once the defense has caught up to the offense, the offense adjusts. We've seen a shift to more teams running 12 or 21 personnel runs from 11 personnel by having hybrid receivers that can moonlight as a second tight end or fullback. I think the next step is for offenses to get heavier while finding ways to use 11 personnel concepts from 12

hey coach any opinions on the ravens using quite a bit of no huddle during there drives against the eagles, it could be nothing but it could be a sign of our tempo during the regular season

At certain times you're going to see the Ravens play 13 personal. Ricard, likely and Andrews.💪🏿

Chiefs ran stuff like this for a while.. Did it a lot in red zones when Jody Fortsen was healthy.

Definitely. They use 12 and 13 Personnel more often sometimes than people realize. And they are very efficient with if.

@@all_22_films defenses pretty much has to come out in base personnel as you stated. To be honest I can’t understand why OC’s don’t use it all the time. I know Gronk is one in a life time talent with the ability to run, catch and block…. But when the Patriots had Hernandez the 2TE option offense they ran was truly unstoppable. Defenses go light you run the ball nonstop, they play base you pass

I definitely see the Bears as a team that will be in 12 and even 13 personnel a decent amount. Two athletic move TEs in Kmet and Everett + Shane Waldron’s affinity for 12/13 personnel as well as play action on early downs. I’m very excited to see the Bears on offense this year.

    I hate seeing this.
I thought that the ravens, who zig around hen others zag, would lend a huge part of their defense to 12 personnel.
We have the best two TE tandem in the NFL. Lamar + Henry.
    Seemed too perfect.
Hate seeing others do it predominantly too.
