I have some issues with this device. I cannot import contacts from my phones contact book to this device via bluetooth. Plus when i plug in aux cable, it doesn't broadcast anything from it (just blue screen). Maybe someone know how to fix it?

My car came with one but I can seem to change the logo of when the stereo turn ons and also the back ground won’t stay . It always goes back to the old mode
I recently purchased a 1070B, no real instructions. It did come with a wiring harness for my year vehhcle had to move the red wire and yellow wire. Only problem i have and maybe I'm missing something, the android auto won't connect with the zlink fot the Bluetooth and radio is just static. Does it require a usb thumb drive?

Hi. Thanks for the brilliant review. (While playing from USB/Memory Card) When car is turned OFF and key removed, does this radio have memory for last point on a song/movie if I switch ignition back ON? If I switched OFF in the middle of a song, will it memorize that point and not playing song from beginning? Thanks.
yes it does have memory and it will start at the last song or where you left off the movie and also even if you remove the usb and memory card and put it back in, it will still remember the last song played or where you left off on the movie how cool is that!

Does anyone know how to install additional apps on it? There is no settings option or store. I have put the APKs on a USB stick and it can see them but no matter what I try they don't do anything. I have tried double tapping them and holding my finger on them but nothing happens. There is a yellow triangle next to each one with a ! in it. It looks to me like it has no program associated to APKs. Any clues anyone? First person to come up with the answer is a hero and a genius. Thanks.

I'm looking for a site or forum for updating the firmware and maybe any hacks that are available for these cool head units... I'd really like it to retain the memory settings I put in after the car battery is disconnected... what a pain when you get everything perfect, and then you have to disconnect the battery for some reason and now you have to re-do all your presets and settings :-(

There is somekind of screenprotector on it. A thin kind of film . Can you take it off? Or should I let it on?

Ive been doing some research.. it seems that when your software has the mirrorlink function you won't have the "logo setting" option... I also have mirror link and the boot logo is ugly i've been trying to find ways to replace it to no avail

Thanks for the video.... I ordered this and installed after your review. I got one question... when i go to play video's off the usb (same mini stick as yours), i get a "parking brake must be on" message. I see you dont have that, how did you wire it or bypass it with the wiring. I cant find anything on the wiring diagram relating to this.

hi, sorry for late reply their is a handbrake wire you have to ground it so the stereo thinks you have the handbrake on then you can watch movies on the go. so that how you bypass it but for safety please dont watch while you are driving

Yes You will go to settings and enter a code which will show most Car makers like Honda or Chevy etc Try 1983 enter as a code Then touch the icon you want then save

Hi. Every time I turn on the car, the radio on the screen turns on automatically with a very high volume and it's very noisy. Also the time and date starts at 00 every time it has been turned off. Do you have any idea why and what to do about these two issues ?

I recently purchased a one like it but with different model which doesn't have volume roller, it is all touch, but I have some issue with it... it turns on every time I run the car even if I turn the accessories on with the antenna rise and a welcome screen and then it turns off automatically, it suppose to save last operation like if you turn it off while the car is running it wont turn on when you turn the car on next time, it also doesn't turn lights of power button when you drive at night in a way that when I want to turn it on I search by my finger on the screen to find the power button. Any help will be appreciated.
Hi, i think you have wired up the stereo wrong. swap the red and yellow wires around at the back of the stereo. check the wiring. Make sure you Subscribe to my channel 👍
@@coolgadgetreviews it has nothing to do with stereo wires, it is about signal wire to antenna, I put switch on/off at this wire, I can now manually control the antenna.
Does it need to be a data transfer cable for mirror option. i have a Samsung galaxy s9. So usb to type-c or any charging cord will work?
hi yes it does have mirror option but the reason why i didnt demonstrate it was because you have to activate the debugging option on your phone and few other stuff
i found this same one for $15 from china. i need a new stereo in my car as it has no aux/bt/usb or anything, you mentioned that it does not come with the cage or the outer thing, i am poor and am wondering do i NEED the cage to use this thing? i can barely afford the $15

hi, the reason why its not saving time or radio stations is because your wiring is wrong way round. you need to swap the red and yellow wires around because the red is for constant battery power and the orange is for your cars ignition which switches the stereo on when you turn the car key in the ignition. so you need to swap the wires around with you car wires on the back on the stereo. Does this radio go back to the home screen when you shut it off? The 7010b doesn't and it's a little annoying
no it does NOT. it will just continue from where you left it before switching your car off. why do you want it to go to home screen every time you start you car?

Hi, no logos on this version. Comes with standard iso but you might have to swap the red and yellow wires

I have hooked it up on my duster all works fine except the reverse camera... When I engage reverse gear I could see LED lights on reverse camera is ON but there is no response on the players screen
I have done connection as per the manual

Did you connect the power cable that activates when you engage the reverse gear?
There's usually a red wire along the vga (video) cable. You need to connect it to the radio so it can know when to activate the reverse channel
I had to use parking light connection (12V) versus reverse light(8V) to get picture. Turn off parking light after backing up, you don’t need it on anymore.

yes, bascially you have turned the screen off, its kind of hard to explain but towards the to top of the screen there is the brightness, dim, screen off and thats what you have touched. you cant get the screen back on if you touch it at he right place, so its by top end of the screen slight towards right not in the corner. so start touching top of the screen going slowly towards right. its just towards right from center. when i mean top of the screen i mean right by the stereo bezel ok. good luck any more questions just ask and dont forget to Subscribe :)
hi, a few questions. 1 - can you give a review of it now seeing that you had it a while, 2 - can you please music via Bluetooth and your phone without connecting a USB or aux cable to your phone? 3 - can you please spotify on the radio or from your phone with Bluetooth and does it allow u to skip songs on your phone but from the buttons on the radio?

hi friend mirror link is abit difficult becuase you have to unlock developer option on your phone first and then find the debugging option on your phone and so on it is a long process but it does work.
might do a video in the future but it may only work on some smart phones
I did it on android and it does not appear on the radio the option of mirror link help

hi, red wire is constant power to you stereo which saves all your settings, yellow wire is your ignition so when you start your car it powers the stereo on. so your wiring is wrong way round, swap the red wire and yellow wire at the wiring harness. hope that helps make sure you Subscribe

Hi, just curious, when you say static is it the buzzing sound when you're driving and it's gone when the car's turned off?
@@YusufGinnah it's like an old radio with bad signal, some buzzing aswell, and by car turned off, you mean, car off and the player still on? It doesn't really matter, only one new sound appears when you push the throttle down, like a surge of current rising. It's pretty light, you get used to it, but this 7023b new that i have is cristal clear and no buzzing.

Cos I've seen the one available to me, on the box it looks identical to the one in the video, I'm not sure about the homepage and graphics. But the model number is 7030dm with Bluetooth also.

@@YusufGinnah the display on the new one is worse than the old one, menu is again, worse, but if you want it for the sound and bluetooth, is like, 2 times better, than the old one, and on ali with shipping from europe was 40 bucks. But again, menu is a little weird, and the display is pretty bad, to white and on lowest brightness it's still to bright at night, colours are very faded, but the sound is very good, probably all i can say is good luck getting a good unit :))
