By now you've heard of the amazing power of the Tesla Model S P85D Insane Mode. To get a feel for how innocent bystanders would react to that incredible acceleration, we put a GoPro Hero 3 in the car and caught that 0-60 in 3.2 seconds in super slow mo that left the participants speechless. to put this cars acceleration into perspective then, the average car does 0-60 in something like 11-20 seconds

dennis trident william the 2015 porsche 911 turbo s. 0-60 2.6, the 2015 Nismo GT-R 0-60 in 2.8. so, no doesnt sound all that fast to me. Plus it handles very poorly due to its near 5000 pound curb weight. It takes nearly 8 hours to charge it when the battery is drained. and that is on a 240 Volt system. If you have 110 volt in your home it would take 73 hours to charge! To put things into perspective for you. The P85d ran a 9:08 around the Nurburgring. The Nismo GT-R 7:08. 2 MINUTES QUICKER!!! end of story.

Who cares even if it can go from zero to 200 kmph in half a second. Acceleration is not always the fun factor. Teslas are boring because they make no engine sound, no transmission, no clutch. You go forward by pressing on one pedal and to slow down you press the other. It's so boring. Its like those go karts that kids play with.
