- Today we take a look at a secretive company known for its arrogance and aggressive business strategies. Founded in 1865, 154 years ago, by William W. Cargill, Cargill is the largest private company in the US by revenue. Some of Cargill's major businesses are trading, purchasing and distributing grain and other agricultural commodities, such as palm oil; trading in energy, steel and transport; the raising of livestock and production of feed; and producing food ingredients such as starch and glucose syrup, vegetable oils and fats for application in processed foods and industrial use. Cargill also has a large financial services arm, which manages financial risks in the commodity markets for the company.

secretive company known for its arrogance and aggressive business strategies. Totally unnecessary statements. A better statement would be 'doen't allow the banks to control their company thru debt based financing'.
Touché
Good work
Sounds like the narrator is reading Cargill’s wiki page word for word. No deeper business analysis.
Wow. You just gave me an idea for a CZcams channel
one of the abcd trade houses who dominate supply and demand. Actually it’s main focus has shifted from goods to the financial market. With futures and options where hedging is available and banks play a big role as well. Bottom line it’s not shortage of food but pricing of food that leads to hunger in this world. On the other hand without one of the ABCD’s nobody would have chicken nuggets as well 😵💫
So proud that i intern here.

It's always amazed me that the food chain is where a lot of modern-day business techniques was born. And at the end of the day it's all about the money not the food welfare for the average consumer.. Even the food and drug administration was born via the food chain. Believe that was Mr. Henry Heinz fighting in a federal courtroom for product ingredients labels that led to the dawn of the food and drug administration. Put in short his competition was using benign ingredients to undercut his pricing of his all natural based ketchup.
Not a fan of Cargill personally but not a fan of modern-day business either... Reason be money should never be prioritised over human welfare Never !!. Discovered Cargill during the study of agriculture and the use of growth hormones and steroids as well plant science teaching early uses of hybrid plants or seeds .
I want to work there
No mention of the child slavery?
