Just picked up mine for $100, can't speak to the durability yet but WOW the comfort, almost like wearing house slippers...! The shock absorption in the heal is amazing, I tried on dozen of boots in every price range, even $250 dollar boots, these felt the best by far.

These turbos look nice and look like they would last. Good move to add this to the lineup, since you don't have a Rambler work boot in soft toe, other than the recon. Think I may try in the future

Turbo series is a great boot and will give you more underfoot comfort than the Rambler. Ariat does have a soft toe Rambler that should hold up to most working conditions. The soft toe Rambler is really lightweight and has the Bantam weight outsole which is lightweight and durable outsole.

Are you going to make the Chelsea turbo in a soft toe? or can you comment on how much height or bulk is added to the boot with the carbon toe compared to a soft toe?

Hey Brian, Ariat does have a soft-version of the Turbo Chelsea. Here is a link www.ariat.com/P19244_M_FOO.html?dwvar_P19244__M__FOO_color=AGED_BARK
The carbon-toe does add some bulk to the toe as it is an ASTM rated safety-toe cap, but it is much lighter weight than a traditional steel-toe cap without giving up any of the protection.
