Ariat Work Big Rig

This video gives a brief description of the Ariat Work Big Rig
Yay!!!! I work with a lot of big dudes like me, that have wide feet like me!!!! It's about damn time!!!!😂
Just picked up mine for $100, can't speak to the durability yet but WOW the comfort, almost like wearing house slippers...! The shock absorption in the heal is amazing, I tried on dozen of boots in every price range, even $250 dollar boots, these felt the best by far.
Love these boots, I wish more companies offered boots for bigger guys. Many make wide boots but not for wide insteps and wide calves.
Are these boots available for women?
Unfortunately, they do not come in women’s sizes at this time.
I"ve been buying red wing boots, but next, soon there will be my size, I will switch to Ariat Turbo Outlaw
Does the big rig EE have more room than the regular work hog EE ???
If I wear a size 8 should I still order a size 8
How does it compare to the endeavor?
It would be lighter weight and a bit more under foot cushioning, but both are great boots over all
Thanks, Also does it have more padding than the work hog or rebar? (Besides the insole ) Trying to find the Ariats with the most padding under the ball of foot. The treadfast are a little on the “thin side” of cushioning. The ground breaker are similar but more solid …and have the good year welt
@@codytolman1982 definitely more underfoot cushioning than the Flex, Treadfast and Grounbreaker. Workhog has quite a bit of cushioning but Stryker probably has a few millimeters more under the fore foot area.
@@workbootsworkwear9156 Thanks for the quick reply! I’ll try them out!
Great more to come out when taken your foot out
Good sorry for the inconvenience, I am from Mexico, the truth is that they do not sell eze type of boots here and I have always wanted to buy boots like that, I wanted to tell you that if you give me some because I work in construction
Good for UPS driver?
I think this would be a great boot for a UPS driver. Great stability and comfort to stand up to your work day.
I've decided to go with the 10 1/2 EEEE Cause the 11EEEE was a little too long and big in general.. Amazing boot!!!! So comfortable and sturdy. Super nice leather and love the light brown shaft as well!!!!! Gonna change my life and my backs life i think.
thats what size i am. 10.5 EEEE. how are them boots treating you?
One more question.. Wondering which one has the wider toe box, an 11EE big rig or an 11EE intrepid force??
Looking to get my first pair of boots and leaning towards ariat. Will def try em on thanks for the review
These turbos look nice and look like they would last. Good move to add this to the lineup, since you don't have a Rambler work boot in soft toe, other than the recon. Think I may try in the future
Turbo series is a great boot and will give you more underfoot comfort than the Rambler. Ariat does have a soft toe Rambler that should hold up to most working conditions. The soft toe Rambler is really lightweight and has the Bantam weight outsole which is lightweight and durable outsole.
I just put my first week in mine and love them I ordered a half size larger don’t if I would have got my normal size they would be perfect I can’t wait to order my next pair best boot ever
They are a very true fit for sure, Glad you are pleased with the comfort so far!
Their only platform with a eeee safety toe. The Reason I'm thinking about trying them I need a extra wide safety toe for comfort.
Got my order in
4E and up to size 18 is hard to find in the pull-on category. Hope they prove to be great boot for you!
@@workbootsworkwear9156 very roomy boot .. Might should of ordered a half size down or gotten the EE instead of thr EEEE.. Is the toe box the same width on the EE as the EEEE?? Or should I just order 1/2 size down for a more snug fit but also wide enough toe box?? I got the 11 EEEE
@@workbootsworkwear9156 and yes very comfortable padded boot and nice craftsmanship. Great looking boot as well
@@berniesocialist-anders5871 The 4E will be wider throughout the entire boot, from heel, to arch, to toe box. Better to go to a 2E width rather than going down a half size on length.
Is this boot more comfortable that the turbo outlaw? I am looking for the most comfortable boots to wear for 12 hour shifts on concrete
That’s a really hard one to answer. Stryker 360 will be a more athletic feel with a slightly elevated heel but the underfoot comfort will be very similar.
What kind of footboard is under the insole on these? A firm fiberboard like most ariats or something else?
Hey Ryan, yes, it does have a firm fiberboard to provide stability between all the cushion that is built into this boot and gives a solid bond for the cement construction.
Are you going to make the Chelsea turbo in a soft toe? or can you comment on how much height or bulk is added to the boot with the carbon toe compared to a soft toe?
Hey Brian, Ariat does have a soft-version of the Turbo Chelsea. Here is a link www.ariat.com/P19244_M_FOO.html?dwvar_P19244__M__FOO_color=AGED_BARK The carbon-toe does add some bulk to the toe as it is an ASTM rated safety-toe cap, but it is much lighter weight than a traditional steel-toe cap without giving up any of the protection.
Thank you!
