- One of the most impressive traditions of Texas A&M is to watch the Corps of Cadets marching into Kyle Field on game day. There are over 2,000 men and women in the Corps. It is worth noting that members of the Cadet Corps have served in every major United State conflict since the Spanish American War. For instance, over 20,000 former Cadets served in World War 2. This was filmed on September 17, 2022.
Very impressive, tight ranks, precision marching and good cadence...excellent.
Yet they can't build a bonfire without killing themselves...

Precision marching???? In my time, soldiers would be sent to kitchen duty for 3 days for marching like this.

Two battalion sized elements marching into a football stadium, all for a university. My God, everything really is bigger in Texas.

TC Camp there was a couple of Aggie cadets in my squad- great guys I wish I remembered their names. Most profane Jody called I ever heard!😅😂🤣😆 Great men, and women.
I date back the 70's at A&M, the Jodys were and artform!

Wow I volunteer with my local college ROTC unit. We have about a 100 cadets. Would love to see a formation like that and to be a part of it go Aggies
These impressive historical Uniforms like the tall Cavalry Boots and Jodpurs do have a place and should be made apart of the standard US Military Services Uniforms.
But they're not riding horses.

Not sure exactly, but over 2,000 men and women.
2143 in the fall of 2021.
My youngest grandson is a sophomore in the Corps. He's with the Thunderbird's division. They are all awesome! The band always wins the half time.
What sort of organisation are they, military? By the way their standard of drill is good.

@@waltherppx6314 LOL. It's not about the uniform. It's about drill and ceremony and taking pride in wearing the uniform. Watch how west pointers march and watch how they wear the uniform. West pointers are shitbags appearance-wise compared to Texas A&M Cadets.
they are. tamu cadets wake up earlier and do required PT every morning (PT isn’t required in the academies). most join other organizations which broadens their scope, and get to be normal people on weekends. overall, a very tough experience that beats the academies in a lot of ways.

For those who don’t know, the boots are handmade. Only senior cadets wear them.
At one time my bookstore was next to Victor’s Boots, one of a couple of places to get them made.
And yes, they were expensive. Started around $250 and went up. In the 1970s. 💙

Do your research man. The boots are reserved for Seniors of Texas A&M in the Corps of Cadets, and are man-made

Neither. It’s the Corps of Cadets, in which its purpose is to prepare college students for military service. This is Texas A&M’s Corps of Cadets, which many Aggies take great pride in.

Why are some of the cadets wearing plain white with no covers?
They are yell leaders. They lead the crowd in yells during the game.
Obviously new caders. As they get ribbons for various things, Scholarships epilet with their rank or forgeries, the uniforms look better
Barney is correct. We don’t have “cheerleaders” we have ‘Yell leaders.” They wear all white uniforms, with no cover. Stems from our history of being a “senior military university.”

@@jimgrosso6492 When they go to OCS, jump, and the required ranger school, then have 40 men they have to train, feed, and get paid. Then you are a leader. So right now they are cheerleaders and toy soldiers.

Amongst numerous other considerations, the State has debt obligations that will need to be re underwritten. What will the currency be? Pesos? Will 💵 still be usable there? Like everything else the Rs and Trump cult does, it makes utterly no sense to me. That’s why I’m retiring elsewhere.
