Harley-Davidson Fishtail Exhaust Install: Cholo pipes for my vicla by Cobra USA & Dennis Kirk!!!

- We finally get to the end of this stage of giving my 2014 @harleydavidson Heritage Softail that West Coast look by adding a set of true dual Bad Hombre Fishtail pipes provided by Cobra USA. My new friend at @DennisKirk, we'll just call him "Phyllis" to keep him anonymous was kind enough to reach out to Cobra and ask that they provide the pipes for this project, and I really thankful that they did. This bike now has the sound and look that it needs from it's exhaust, and it is now running better than it has for the 7 years that I have owned it. Thanks again to my buddy Phyllis, and his team at @DennisKirk, and of course to the folks at Cobra. I really appreciate it. Next step, paint and body!

I’ve got an 08 heritage Softail I’ve been turning into a Vicla style bike! I put Bassani 30” fishtails. I stripped mine down though. No bags, no passenger seat. A fender bib instead. Replaced the lollipop lights with the smaller bullet lights. It’s a fun project for sure!
Dennis Kirk was always my go to for dirt bikes snowmobile and atv parts as a kid. They have always been a top notch company with great service. Bike looking great.

Ordered a set of samson true duals for a M8 with 39" fishtails and a thundermax tuner back in October and there finally being delivered tomorrow. I got that Christmas eve as a kid feeling going on rite now.

Dennis Kirk has always been fair on prices and shipping is fast. Love the length and sound of the Cobras with the baffles. Damn now I have to think harder on installing a set on my 11 Heritage. Enjoy the videos

When I was younger I had a set of Samson S-156 stagered fishtail pipes on my FLSTS. Those were loud pipes. Idling in 2nd gear down main street set off car alarms on a regular basis.
These cobras sound pretty good! Not too obnoxious!

Cobra is a great company. I put a Cobra Fi2000 Pro fuel management system in my Trike. After it ran out of the warranty it lost the front cylinder. I put the original on and it worked. Put it back on and when it got warmed up it lost the front cylinder again. I called Cobra. Although it was as out of warranty they overnighted me a new one. And I sent the old one back. What was outstanding was they called me to check on if that fixed the problem. That what I call outstanding service. Cobra is really a great Company. Dave the Proudtexson

Gotta agree with you regarding Cobra parts, installed their high flow air cleaner (scoop style) on my '17 RoadKing. Had an issue with one of the vent nipples, contacted them with pics and had proper part within a couple days. Love the look and simplicity of it.

Freakin sweet!! Nice work bro. I bought an Advanblack cobra seat for my 15 Ultra because of your recommendation, love it!!! Always getting compliments on it and my wife loves the height difference, she gets to see over my head instead of looking around it, I'm 6' and that's even with helmets on.
I guess I never noticed that it does drop you a bit which would help the passenger.

first time doing an exhaust was on my deluxe and i’ve never done it before and that bracket that holds the coil was a pain, it took me 2 1/2 days to finish but it was worth it and i could definitely do another set no problem

Looks killer! Sound is very nice man and I've been enjoying this build/updating of the heritage. Did a dark vikla build with my 2018 Heritage and each day I love it more and more. If you want to change the tone, look at Big city Thunder baffles. I tossed them into my Freedom fishtails and it gave me alot more bark with that classic "cackle" of a fishtail too. Great video man.
I have Cobra longshot on my 06 sportster (no joke about it, have no money for a 1340 evo softail for now and before a longtime) looks good, sounds good (exept if you are à whiny ecollo-glutenfree-vegany-hipster) cool brand for exhaust system.
And i am amazed about how much câbles and shits are taking all the space on "modern" HD. I am already pissed about the space taken by m'y ICM and TSSM modules and cables who are nothing in compare...

You just reminded me of how much of a pain in the ass it was to put Long Shots on my 2007 Softail Standard Custom when I had that bike. I installed a Trask 2 into 1 Assault on my 2016 Road Glide yesterday, and that was a lot easier.

Yup, I had a 1995 FLSTN. Rewired the whole ass end, new windshield, pipes, fixed the rattly dash and a million other tiny things then discovered it needed a motor rebuild. This was at my old house where space was even more of an issue so I sold it. I regret that every single day.
I really enjoy your channel. I work at a small indy shop and we had a customer that wanted fishtail installed on his 99 roadking. he had a 2 into 1 system and the bike dynoed at 100 hp{ yes we have a dyno]} after install and tuning the bike it had 70 hp. fishtails are cool looking but the KILL performance! on a side note after you shaved your beard all I could think of is Homer Simpson! keep up the great content!
Enter get your dyno checked. No exhaust will cause a 30HP difference, either way, period

Even though it's nice out now, when it gets colder it cut to the bone with the moisture in the air. You should have a dry cold there if I'm correct.
