Hereford's railway station is along the Welsh Marches Line and is one of the terminuses or junctions for many branch lines, one being the Hereford to Brecon line.

Sadly, the area between the train station and the beginning of town has become seriously run down and depressing. The market is also seriously lacking. It's nowhere near as nice as it used to be in the 80's/90's.
