Best Things to Do in Herefordshire, England | Black Hill, Hereford, Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow

- Hey everyone! Earlier this year we spent one week in Herefordshire and the surrounding area for a big family get together. In this video we show you the best things to do in Herefordshire, England including Black Hill, Hereford, Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow. (And yes we know Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow aren't technically in Herefordshire but they are easily doable as a day trip from Hereford and are well worth a visit if you are in the area!)
Herefordshire is a county of England bordering South Wales and is full of rolling farmland, wooded hills and beautiful river valleys. We have a whole video planned for the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is why it doesn't feature in this one! But as you will soon see you should definitely add it to your list of places to see in Herefordshire along with the locations in this video!

I really did enjoy you guys in my home county and city. The Black Hill or Cats Back is always good - in poor weather to. You can actually see another 4-5 counties from there. The ridge features the Offa's Dyke path - so loads of walking up there. You did Hereford proud - thanks. And Ludlow is cool. At time mark 0:18 there was a shot of Brobury Gardens, at Brobury House Bredwardine, that sits on the river Wye, but it was not featured in the rest of the video. Well worth a visit.
We actually did visit Brobury House and had a nice time there 😊 it just didn't make it into the final cut of the video unfortunately!

My Name is from some castle thats there i guess. Im from the Midwest. Never been out of the states. Id kinda like to check this place out. But like,id be paying to go someplace to pay for more things and come back. All the while people have literally been dying to get to America. I always think that when i feel the jab to explore outside the Heartland. I should probably visit New York first. But then i think, i just paying to go somewhere to, god never mind 😢
Hopefully you can visit some of these places one day! We never regret the money we spend on travel because we always come away feeling richer for the experience 😊

We honestly couldn't say I'm afraid! The housing market is not really our area of expertise! Hope you can find an answer to your question 👍
Watch out for the potholes. And the traffic jams. And the roadworks. And the tractors. And the empty shops. And the drug addicts. And the unemployment. And the council that doesn't give a shit.
Slightly picky but when making a video of an area please try to be respectful of the locals with correct info......it's the cats back not ridge. Hereford is a city not a town. There are many lovely towns in the county without going over the border.
Firstly thanks for watching Mike 😊 we always do our research before we visit any location to try to be as accurate as possible but of course we are only human! We know Hereford is a city but it is also the county town of Herefordshire which is how we described it in the video. 'Cats ridge' was just a mistake in the moment because we did know it was called the cats back but of course it is also a ridge which is where the confusion came from. We would love to go back and explore more of Herefordshire in the future but we didn't have time for everything on our first visit 😊
