So, that what it is: 40 :1, because there was ab. 750 Polish soldiers and over 40k German soldiers. This video is done in Poland, at Wizna, where the actual battle took place. It's a reenactment of the battle, and it's filmed by the descendent of Kpt.. Ragimis. Sabaton played a concert there.
You should also watch live version from Woodstock Poland 2012, there was over 700 k people there. After the song people sang Polish National Anthem to Sabaton.

The video of 3mln views was an fan vid, not made by Sabaton and it was copyright striked, youtube was very strict back then, but Sabaton made it as official.

The song is about polish soldiers. The germans was 40 too 1 in numbers, against the polish soldiers.

Not the first time I am hearing this song. I have to agree with you about everything. Perhaps the world does not really fully realize and appreciate how much Poland suffered during WW2 and how brave they were to resist Germans. In this song, Sabaton obviously recognizes the Polish sacrifice and bravery. It is no surprise to me that it was very popular in Poland.
Yeah they stood up for their right to freedom and against the nazi war machine even though they were outnumbered. Just like any country would, it is true bravery to protect the right to their peoples freedom and thats what I really like about Sabaton, they sing about things like this. =)

I think you already know me (I wrote a few comments)." 40:1" is great (not only for Poles) But listen (krcze, again something I propose ;)) "Uprising" or better "Winged Hussars" or "Aces in Exile". You can also "Panzerkampf" or "panzer battalion". But at the end, and as a Pole, I will recommend "Ghost Division". And then there's "Carolus Rex."

Sabaton, one of my favorite bands from the day I first heard them!! Their concerts are always a highlight! Same with Apocalyptica, you should give them a listen too (if you haven't already). Both bands together at a concert was awesome! There is also a collaboration between Joakim and Apocalyptica: Live Or Die (czcams.com/video/lqGTCR0a3Hw/video.html). Simply great!
