    Love your videos and your honesty!!! I just got my G3 and I’m loving it so far. I have the Sony a90j which has great accuracy but I wanted more 3D pop and the G3 has it! I’ve been playing around with the settings because DV is a little dark for me, so I adjusted it to my liking. Great customization! Turning off the noise reduction settings, made it super clear! G3 whites are awesome! Sony’s processing is fantastic on my a90j but I have to say the G3 is right up there! The a95l would be a great choice too, but I’m glad I picked the G3! Plus saving $1000 makes it even better!

      @luvtechLynn. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Wow, congratulations on your new G3. Thats freakin awesome. And it's nice to hear from someone who is a current owner of a Sony tv. Especially an A90J owner. For someone to compliment the Processing of the g3 while being an owner of a A90J speaks volumes.. And I feel like many people put there think the LG G3 has no chance against the A95L and that is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. The G3 to me is one of the best tvs in the entire market period. Literally right next to the A95L. Especially when you play movies through a 4k dvd player. You will get wowwed. Hope to see you around in the comments more. Thank you so much again.

    I’ve been on the fence for a while with all 3 however the more content I watch it appears they all have faults, if I had to choose it would be either a s95c or g3 I’m hoping next year they can sort out the gaming blackout issues on the s95c and the drop in colour and brightness of the g3, I’m hoping the gen 10 processor will be awesome, these TVs are expensive so I want to make sure I get the one I’m going to be to happiest with for some years, roll on 2024 Black Friday

      @jiffjaff9018. Hey, thank you so much for your comment and checking out the video. It is not an easy choice, that's for sure. As an owner of all 3 tvs, I still do have a hard time choosing which tv I like best. Although I really am digging the A95L this year. I still have moments I get surprised og how much the S95C looks or the G3 in certain scenarios and times. They all have their individual advantage over one another. As far as the dropouts go. This goes way back with Samsung, so for me, I have my doubts about them fixing the dropout issues. I've had dropout issues on their tvs since 2017/2018. And it was even then specific to the Ps4, just like it is specific to the ps5 now. So it's obviously a handshake issue from the system to the tv, but really, Samsung should fix it on their end because they are really the only tv brand with this issue. Not even a vizio tv os that bad. And I have heard some rumors regarding the gen 10 chip. I have more faith in LG g3 figuring out how to get more color pop out of there tvs then I do Samsung figuring out how to clear up there dropout issues. Plus LG has always been there as a good reliable tv brand for me so far. Yes they have there panel lottery and uniformity issues but of it wasn't for them, the tv market would not be what it is today. And they really don't get enough credit for their processing. It really is next level stuff. Especially hiw they get that 3d pop on their tvs. I love it and I'm spoiled by it.

    I have Across the Spider-verse. Good movie and shows off the abilities of OLEDs very well. I’m still amazed at my 77G3.
    Another good tech demo movie is Mortal Engines. I watched that over the weekend and the G3’s crisp detail and bright highlights really stood out. The 3D pop in the G3 is so strong that I notice it missing on other televisions.
    Another thing about the G3 that hardly gets mentioned is how good it is at displaying sports. I’ve watched hours of hockey, basketball and baseball. The whites on the G3 are pure white both in the ice and the players uniforms. Watching hockey I’m amazed at how well the G3 shows all of the scratches in the ice for hockey games. You’re right about the A9 Gen6 processor. It’s a powerful beast of a chip that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.

    • @framejumper
      @framejumper Před 9 měsíci +2

      Also, there’s no dimming at all on the G3. I can watch hours of hockey games and the screen remains bright throughout. Really great tv for sports.

      Good point about the sports. I’m deciding between the G3 and the A95L and I’m a big sports fan and watch a lot of hockey. I do love Sony’s upscaling of 720/1080i content which is why the choice is hard for me. How does the G3 upscale sdr sports?

      @user-rb9ix9sl1n Před 9 měsíci +2

      Amazing and its really the only thing which makes me go G3 is that i think the thing called ASBL! If im not wrong the logo dimming thing it cant be turned off on the A95L HDTV test and others have showed this i guess and its by a little, but its kinda noticable in the test! So i will go G3 because i mostly watch sports, otherwise i really really really like both tvs and i MIGHT get them both G3 77 for the living room (cable Sports, movies & tv shows) - A95L 77 for my room (Movies & Tv shows)

    • @framejumper
      @framejumper Před 9 měsíci +3

      @@Bklynblaze1 The G3 upscales sports extremely well. I watch 720p/1080i cable for some sports and the G3 upscales them cleanly and the motion is excellent! The G3 excels at hockey and other fast paced sports. Everything is so clear and defined it makes watching sports so enjoyable again. Even with the noise reduction settings turned off and Trumotion turned off the G3 delivers a natural, clear image without blurring. I’m so happy I bought the G3. I got a perfect panel. I never thought I’d use the sports alert feature when I bought it a few months ago but now I find I’m using it all the time to stay on top of upcoming games. Great feature! The G3 is the real deal. LG did an incredible job with it. Very happy!

    Thank you brother, you really become the boss of oled TV reviewing, good work.
    I think for overall package, i mean for price and 5Y warranty and for usage 50-50 between gaming and movies, G3 is the sweet spot, yeah a95l is the top performer in colors and audio(but i don't like it's whites and blacks, aren't feel shiny and inky like MLA G3 and Panasonic), for Samsung, in R&D, they are very creative but i don't trust at all their reliability (sorry)
    Last piece of advice for your channel to grow, you have a very nice large space, i think if you begin to compare 85" or 75" full arrays and miniled LCD sets too, you will obtain a substantial high audience and subs

    I’d say the Sony looks way too artificially smooth looking here in motion. Spider-Verse is a movie that lived and dies on its unique/low framerate to simulate animation. I definitely couldn’t imagine any kind of SOE making it a better experience. Just kind of feels at odds with the look. Kind of like the Lego movie in that regard. Thank you for providing this comparison though. Rare to see all these TVs side by side!

    Thx for the very detailed video!
    The comparison in the most accurate modes is appreciated! It's sruprising to me that they look so different in their most accurate modes - especially in terms of shadow detail. The Sony look brighter/ lighter in the darker tones in pretty much every scene, I wonder if that's accurate or Sony is sprinkling on a little additional sauce there..

    • @sduke802
      @sduke802 Před 9 měsíci

      Sony always over brightens their near black processing bc they know people like it in dark scenes. I hated it in my a80j bc it always seemed to lose contrast on dark scenes vs my LG and S90C. LG almost always crushes too much - but adds contrast.

    • @floz9718
      @floz9718 Před 9 měsíci

      @@sduke802 Yes it seems like Sony does that but brightening the near black doesn't add any detail, it just smears the tones just above black together. Crushing the blacks also doesn't add contrast - it's both an optical illusion that looks like it at first.
      The truth is both (although this year's LGs seem to be very good if you calibrate it!) simply doesn't manage to have perfect gradiation out of black and they employ different strategys to hide that.
      Im currently comparing my new S95C to my Panasonic HZ 1000 (both uncalibrated!) and even though the S95C is very good near black (especially since there is no chrominace overshoot!) the Panasonic is simply better. It's detail retrievel just above black is better even though the Samsung's shadows are slightly brigher/lighter. The Panasonic manages to show me more shadow detail AND have more contrast and deeper blacks at the same time - and that's what besides Panasonic, all Oleds struggle to do.

      @consumerreview2k  Před 9 měsíci +1

      @floz9718. Thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I am not exactly sure. It could be more then one reason. It can be due to Sony's processing, it could be due to how they utilize the qd oled panel. But they are all different from eachother.

As soon as the scene opens up and arrive to sinders house and kratos and Freya are standing together. I haven't really noticed it with streaming movies or watching 4k content through physical disc content. There has been other times I have seen 3d pop within the d95c too but again it's really been through gaming. I tried to see if I noticed any 3d pop in the spider verse movie and did not. Either way, I can tell you from personal experience. At first, I was going to purchase the s90c.them. I saw some of the downgrades. Build and more plastic, not as heavy duty frame. And lower wattage speakers. Many were saying that it is actually a bit worse than last year's s95b as far as build quality goes. So I bought the s95c reluctantly due to the one connect box. I had issues in the past with one connectbox, and it was horrible. Either way, I still do regret it cause the s95c has still been a bit of a pain with the dropouts. And it seems that it's more so the s95c with the issues. Yea, I here the s90c has the same issue, but it doesn't seem like it's as common as the s95c. It is one of those things when the tv is working I'm mesmerized. But then when it's dropping out I would really want to pick it up and throw in the middle of the street and run it over. Samsung needs to f8x the dropout issues or there going to lose allot of buyers. It's already happening

    Just look at how a 65" $1000 more expensive tv is shipped to you. You'll open it up and think it was an open box repackaged. Sony cheapens out on the wrong stuff. Who buys a $3500 tv and uses the TV speakers for sound? Don't care about how well it sounds without a soundbar or home system. Essentially one 2.1 HDMI port since the other is used on the receiver. Scratches on the screen to boot. Want the best motion? Turn on this setting which helps motion, but hurts PQ. There are far too many stipulations to getting this set. Sorry, but Sony isn't concentrating on the correct details.

    • @insertnamehere8723
      @insertnamehere8723 Před 9 měsíci +3

      The box is irrelivant. You literally see it once and stare at the TV for 99% of its life, buddy. Also, the TV speakers on the Sony are way better than most budget soundbars people get and certainly dethrone the G3, which has lost focus compared to previous models that focused on it. I mean, the lack of a stand on the a G3 will put off most renters and is a huge oversight as an "optional extra." Back to the point here, then there's the majority of cases where people use the speakers and either don't have any interest in a soundbar or investing in an expensive sound system, but want a flagship TV that is more well-rounded with sigificantly better picture quality than the G3 or samsung's insult to source content processing. Believe it or not, you don't represent the majority of people. The only thing that is annoying is the limited HDMI 2.1 ports, but an HDMI adapter that autoswitches multiple devices is an easy workaround as most normal people tend to use one device at a time and this saves unplugging and shuffling inputs.

      @TomYaboYoga. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I did find that extremely odd that they did not put a protective sealed film over a screen that they charge so much for. That is something that they should not have overlooked. I even have micro scratches from it on my A95L. The sound system from the tv is important because it shows that Sony cares just as equally with sound quality as they do woth there master series picture quality. This is another reason why Sony is a little more. plus remember that the nice part is if you were to purchase a Sony soundbar, you can utilize the acoustic speakers from the tv as a center speaker along woth your soundbar and subwoofer for a much more immersive experience. And I have that set up on my other A95L, and I eill tell you it's really nice. Just remember. If LG and Samsung decided not to put their tvs on sale, the A95L would only be $500 dollars more than the A95L. which means the build quality and the better sound system of the a95l is justified. Plus, the A95L cokes soft calibrated to accuracy out of the box, which is another expense you would pay for with other tvs. I totally agree woth the lack of 2m1 hdmi ports. It is a noticeable nuance for sure. I really feel like they need to just get it to be 5 2.1 hdmi ports caise that is ridiculous for the price they charge though. I'm with you.
