  • Research expertise from the University of York is helping to preserve the magnificent stained glass and stonework at York Minster, the largest gothic cathedral in northern Europe.
    In this video, Sarah Brown (Department of History of Art) and Kate Giles (Department of Archaeology) show how medieval craftsmanship and modern scientific techniques are coming together to preserve the glass and stone for for generations to come.
