ABOUT ME
I’m 33 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.
At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city s a Police Officer and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]
I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 1200 breeding ewes.
A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.
I watched a few farm vlogs on CZcams and decided I could have a go and now here we are!
Since starting The Sheep Game I have met Lizzy and had two incredible boys Jock and Angus. You will see them all on this channel!
Thanks for watching my videos and please subscribe if you want to see more in future.
Hi Im 12 I met you today at the gys I was wearing a black Adidas coat and had a little sister, I loved it ❤😂
Love your videos they are real and down to earth with a lot of fun. There is always a great amount of information that you can learn as well. Thank you for sharing & take care!👍🏻
Good morning Cammy and Iowna 😊. I don't think you will ever recover from the shock of the cost of the salards 😂. Thank you for the walk about it's lovely to see so many different breeds. Have a fantastic day, and hopefully, it will be a dry one today. 💜
If you were a sheep, Cammy, you’d be an Oxford down. It’s the hair. The likeness is uncanny!😂
I bought Wensleydale wool in Whitby years ago to knit a sweater. It is really lovely wool to work with and l still love my sweater.
That's a surprise, I thought they are a rug wool breed- now I know!
£19 EACH?!?! That's ridiculous! If it weren't the middle of the night here I would have shouted at my phone. Holy crap that's 😮😮😮😮😮
Madness!
Don’t the venders that have food sell their food items and donate the money to a good cause!!😊 Like for instance cancer, diabetes awareness, etc…!😊
#catchup Hi Cammy so nice to see you tho I missed the live. Sheep are AMAZING!! ALL THE DIFFERENT BREEDS ‼️♥️❤️👀🇨🇦VICTORIA, BC
Just watched the dalscone/ sheep game video. Loved it. Well done Cammy
Thanks Cammy and Iona for the tour. Sorry I missed the live because of the time difference here 🇨🇦
Love your channel and the FBF podcast. Always entertaining and fun. Hope Lizzy and the little Wilsons are doing well. 😊❤️
Loved the Sheep with the Dreadlocks
I always associate Wensleydale with Cheese on Wallace and Gromit
Impressive looking Sheep
Thank you for the awesome tour. Sooooo many different breeds of sheep! All wooly loveliness 🐏🐑🐏. Glad you had a dry day. Love you all.💞
The Texel look like the pit bulls of sheep lol❤
I always enjoy your videos no matter what they are about . Enjoy seeing the family too .
i used to love the show but cammy is incompetent and it annoys me just saying no offence ment
I loved the sheep that had what looked like braids. Beautiful.
Reggae dreadlocks!!💕💕
Good morning Cammy thanks for showing us around
Hope your sales go well today
Lovely sheep. That one with corded wool, I would not want to show those. Each cord has to be washed and dried as cords. So much work. Lovely sheep and great wool. that would have been awesome to see one of those bobbing to Bob Marley music. Thanks for taking us on this. Couldn't catch the live, but enjoyed watching after.
Hi Cammy, loved seeing all of the sheep. As a old farm girl, I love all of the animals. Thanks for sharing these with us. Take care and stay safe till next time.
❤❤❤❤❤
Watch the replay .
Wow so many kinds of sheep .
The wenslydale was neat looking.
Thankyou for giving the tour .
I love sheep! Thank you, Cammy, for taking me along. I would love to see a closeup of the black sheep the next time. 🤗
Sorry I missed the live, thanks for posting!x
Very interesting to e so many different breeds of sheep. Thanks for sharing it.
Great tour round video Cammy.. thanks for sharing
A boy Cammy another good video 👍.
Hope you had a good day. Love this time of year, going to these shows.
I don't know where to send photos, but I just wanted to let you know that my mugs have arrived safely. Thank you, team. I love them.
Send a pic to sheepgamefans@gmail.com and we'll try and pop it in the gallery!
“Lettuce and a bit of cheese.” I’m thinking caviar with champagne dressing and wagu sprinkles. 😂
Yorkshire is where my grandparents are from. Thanks from Seattle for sharing.
Cammy food at these markets should be affordable to everyone, eating out is part of the enjoyment.
I couldn't agree more prices for food at these events are ridiculous
And who do you suggest should subsidize these meals to make them affordable for everyone?
@@gaylenaylor7852 Supply and demand, dearie. Supply and demand.
Food is part of the fun of most big shows. Unfortunately you have to budget for it. Usually the cost of entry.
The Lady in pink was lovely 😁
Hooley dooly! Salad must have had truffles in it!!
That Kerry Hill was stunning! I had a cheese and ham sourdough sandwich there, seems a bargain at £7.50 now! 😅, thanks for talking to me and doing a message for my friend, she was over the moon!
If you can I think Pretty Graphics covering the entire area, rather than painting it all black, is a much better idea
The Graphics are so wonderful
They set you apart
Hi Cammy, I hope that you have a dry day. Thank you for everything you do xx❤
Some fabulous breeds.... great to see them 😊😊
Morning Cammy, enjoy the show and have a wonderful day. 😊
Morning Cammy. Hoping you have a brilliant day at the show.
Yes note to self next time Cammy take your own next year x
Iona is so adorable
Love the banter between you too
The man prepping the Sheep was nice
Love seeing all the different breeds of sheep and you telling us about them. ❤❤
Morning Cammy from Co Antrim.. enjoy your day.. hope the weather is good..🌞
Morning from Staffordshire, hoping for better weather for you this morning
Where are the merinos?? Iam telling ya, will be the next big thing in Scotland Cammy!
Great to meet you at the GYS …stand was amazing and just chatting with you was awesome
Will try to arrange sensible priced for you next year….
Hey Cammy, how’s Meg?
Do not paint it black 😱. It will bake your brains in full sun.
Hot pink
Were there gold leaves in the salads?!
Thee top sheep looks like they're going to rob a bank. At first glance I thought that they were all wearing masks!
8 days ago🤔 I thought I was getting a live. Your wife is a warrior😎😍
Good morning Cammy from Templr, Texas 🇺🇸
Such fun seeing a sheep show! The first weird sheep were so unusual. Head of a cow, rabbit ears and a brown sheep body. Are you Scottsmen doing vivisections? The one with the cute dreadlocks was awesome. I now want one. All interesting breeds. Great content!😮
19 pounds ... that's about $38 Australian ... no way!!!!!!!
Cool LOVE farm shows
Thanks for staying and chatting at the wooly weekend. You must have thought that I was a nutter.
Great video as always….the big question is….did the salad fill you up ….. it looked like a small plate…. Or did you go looking for a fish supper later😜
£19 for a salad!!!!
Always prefer to take my own food.
YAY!!
Lovely to see you in The Wild again
One of the first wools I used to knit was Wensleydale. It was wonderful to work with (and now I'm really picky about what I'll knit up).
It would want to be a efin lobster salad with smoked salmon before I would be even thinking about paying £19. And that would be sitting in a nice restaurant! At a show I'd choke first! Plenty of snacks in the pocket if you can't find something reasonably priced (I get it being a little more expensive over fees) and stop for a proper meal on the way home!
The number of breeds shown in Yorkshire is impressive.
Great to see the with you!
I’m so sad we couldn’t go but we were going to
I paid 13 pounds just for a few chips and a little bit of beef and I thought that was dear enough.
Morning Cammy. You're looking good this morning. ❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing this trip with us.❤❤❤
Great overview of the show.
Bonnie's just over 6 weeks old now. We'd all love to see an updated photo of her! Is she letting you sleep a bit more through the night? Hope so!💕💕
Those Crawlaw sheep look fierce. They look like they could be the school yard bully of the sheep world. Holy 💩. 🤣 Iona, a number of years ago in my home province New Brunswick Canada $20 for a slice of pizza at an outdoor Rolling Stones concert. Robbery and bad pizza at that.♥️the Black Nose, the fancy sheep with the dreads reminds me of the dog breed Komondor ( it is a guard dog especially for sheep, all white similar size and blends in) or another dread locked dog is the Puli also used as a herding dog as well as guarding. I can only think of the maintenance and Cammy too many of that breed of sheep and you’d never b weed able to think of buying a salad 🤣
Missed the live, but looking forward to seeing if you brought your drone (a.k.a., long stick) to this show.
Evening Cammy . Enjoy from bribie island Queensland Australia
13:20 Wensleydale, lovely sheep! 😮
Missed the live, I’m currently in Wetherby which is near the great Yorkshire show. I’ve never been . Traffic is horrendous, prices are too high for me. Have a great time though
Just seen the wensleydales, I prefer cheviots and texel for their wool. Stick with the cheviots! I make rugs from them
The Wensleydale locks are just...just...words fail me. \(^-^)/ (Why yes indeed, I am a spinner, why do you ask?)
The sheep with the dreadlocks is just gorgeous 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
3:00 a.m. 3:00 a.m. you posted PS. I'm in the United States Pennsylvania
Looks fine on screen, have a nice weekend.
An Early Morning Tour...and *Another Cammy Quote: @2:29 > "less intoxicated people about."
The sheep with the Afros are trying to look like you. 👀
Morning Cammy,just joined you! Have a good day ! £19 for a salad !
Oh you guys are so funny I just love watching you both
Those sheep are my favourite!
Good morning cammy😊everything is good
Oh cammy 19 pounds each is definitely taking the biscuit so to speak 😮
Hey Cammy, just curious if the sheep with other than white fleece are of a different value?
I hope the salads had goldflakes in them
good morning Cammy andIona
Love the Kerry Hill
Got on just in time.
No salad today lol 😆... have a good day 😄
I know you are very busy as it's difficult to juggle kids and sheep but I miss you😢 !yes recall you saying less videos, are you getting a lot of rain Wales it's wet wet wet not the band !?
Good morning Cammy ❤❤
You must be like a kid in a sweet shop
I think Ben would like these x
