As Pakistani I always feel that Bengali are our brothers even the friends and peoples around me are not hateful and angry with Bengali peoples at all, we love them and feel proud on their achievements as any another Muslim nation I would love to know how Bengali peoples feel about Pakistan please let me know do not debate or use bad words accept what u feel wrong on any side or don’t at all just what you feel and view on the topic respectfully I hope. And what I feel is following…
It’s very sad event that Bangladesh was born. I still wished that even the division without bloodshed but that was in past. As Indira Gandhi said on 1971, the biggest nation built on the Ideology of Islam failed today... I want to tell Jinnah that 2 nation Theory (Hindu and Muslim are 2 nations and cannot be in one nation so Muslim must have their homeland) is drowned in ganji river in Bangladesh.... I don’t say there was one villain of this story Pakistani, and Batali peoples all play the role of broking the largest and biggest Muslim nation in the face of the earth because we were Bengali and west Pakistani first then Muslim later .... India capitalized this opportunity very well.
Why Bangladesh is not part of Pakistan
01. At 1947 Pakistan come to existence as east and West Pakistan. the national language was chosen to be Urdu and official language was English ... though all county from west side (Punjab, Sindh, KPK - Sarhad, Baluchistan) accepted it and they were known the language a little bit but Bangladesh not just dismiss that but also resisted it by not formally educated in Urdu at people's level. That was the 1st rift among the both side.
02. Proxy by Indian side: India new the rift from the start so they led the moment to liberate the Bangladesh to spread the roomers and truth making it very deadly arguments to make sure more hate get to the hearts of Bangladeshi peoples
03: starting the industrialization of west side but not on east much alike.... Pakistan west side was the main consumers of the Tea, patson, as main crops and most of the east side was very much grow these and that crops called cash crops at that time so they sent to west side too process for use and some of it exported ...that make the industrialization of west look like the injustice to the east plus the main industry of shipping was starting so the main industry of Bangladesh was just start building.. India was successfully able to pick up that truth and make it look like the west was taking part of east that was truth cz west was modernized yet east was not much to the mark but they neglected the east industrialization as shiping hub joining with west.
04: lack of communication: that was time of writing letters and send postcards through post office that may take even months plus who east side going to write to west? Or west to east? They were unaware totally so information not share almost to non. That make west believe that east is happy and well cared for but east led to believe that west peoples forget their brothers in east to start with. They don’t care about the eastern side.
05: voting crises ... east side leader was also very popular in west especially in Punjab but west side leader was not much known to be the leader to east... problem was language to begin with. They don’t know any leader from west at all. So at winning elections west side leader claim that it’s not fair so we rule west you rule east.... that was the final blow that spark the freedom movement led by Indian Supporters and Bangladeshi peoples called Muktibani to remove any official from west side. Army under eastern commanders was held but eastern army lead by western commanders were revolting until western army regroup to control the rebellion ....
06: killings on both sides, no one actually knows who started it but to be fair its was Indian spies and corrupt officials from both side commit the brutality as spark wide side killing and unrest both sides claim they were protecting their own.
07: Indian army with 6 months preparation and manpower 1 Pakistani solder against 15 Indian solders (total Pakistani soldiers mean east and west) so if we count only west end then 1 Pakistani against 50 Indian solders Plus East solders plus Bangladeshi peoples... it was impossible because they don’t have supply line and no base of operations yet Pakistani fights till end... that was quoted by Indian army chief and field marshal Manek Shah...
In short west side was unknown to eastern side problem the east side problems due to lack of communication and rest was east side refused to Urdu as national language and not familiar with it. in any case Pakistan was wrong on all accounts so Indian propaganda work and right after plastic take place in most of Patson end products, tea was imported from other countries and spent a lot of foreign reserves Bangladesh lost its biggest market of tea and patson so their cash crop was domed and later imported to India so things that only change was they give up the railways including railways lines and shipping industry to India plus they sell almost everything to India and India industrialized accordingly but Bangladeshi peoples remain the same...
Fyi, Bengalis played a major role in Pakistan's independence so my ppl contributed a lot.
