This hidden gem of a hike, my personal nature retreat since 2018, offers a rich tapestry of terrains, from gentle jungle strolls to exhilarating rock scrambles, with the chance to spot magnificent eagles in flight.(trail starts from Alpine overlook, Palisades Interstate park) In today's adventure, I venture north and spend the night in the comfort of my self-converted Mercedes Sprinter camper van, parked at the familiar Walmart lot. As the stars twinkle above, I prepare simple and nourishing meals to savor amidst the wilderness. I have heard there are restrictions but cannot find details...
Sure, parkways are definitely a go! However, when it comes to tunnels, it's a no if you've got propane on board. Hope this helps👍

This Walmart is about an hour from New York City. It's right next to I-87, very RV friendly. I've never had any problems.
