Yes!!! It would be awesome these videos are super helpful for building technique. I haven't tried these yet, but I have watched. I used the card workout you did as well. It is awesome and fun. This content is super helpful.
man I did nothing.. I was just having my dinner and now I am ready to go ;-) ..by the way this is a great series, please go on and on...thx for this Gabriel!
In no rules fights, there are several levels of "clinching". 1, hand play at wrist range. I love this range so I can grab my opponent's wrist and deliver my thrust kick to their body, pulling them down into the kick. This is basically what I would do to Israel Adesanya if I were 185 again, or what I would coach a new star to do to him, since he leaves that front hand out in space so much, may as well punish him. 2, hand play at elbows range. This is awesome for delivering submissions, uppercuts, elbow strikes, knees, you name it. 3, clinch behind the head or neck. Again awesome for Naihanchi style pulling head into an elbow strike or knee strike, etc. Love this range too.
Thank you for the video. This channel helps me fill in the gaps of the language barrier with my guy here. Nuance and different ways of explaining the same lessons. Great resource
Is it wrong that I watched this while eating a giant chocolate muffin? :))) Yes, I will watch this again next to the bag later. :) Great vid, Gabe! More realistic combos - especially punch/kick combos.
I'm beginner at boxing but in level 5 when you throw the cross you let your hands down when you throw your cross try to protect you chin (and l don't know much like you but I see that and keep uploading video you are a inspiration for me
i would love to see a muay thai combo video in this style!! or at least a video that mixes punches and kicks together, as a beginner i feel like i struggle to throw anything more than single kicks or simple 1-2 punch combinations in sparring.
Hey gabriel im struggle in change my bad habits ,its difficult cause all the time i use to throw some combinations in one way, usually the wrong way and im really paying for that specially in sparring , where its difficult get realized of your mistakes .
Good stuff! I almost thought you were spying on me with those last combos!! Lol Seriously I just had this kind of shadow boxing work on my fb story! I love it!!
Thank you for this videos Gabriel.Your channel is very insightful. Also I think it would be interesting to do a video about martial arts training injuries and pains and how to deal with them.I feel a professional fighters view on this would be very helpful.Keep up the good work.
Gabriel, thank again for your amazing and very usefull help. I have 2 question if you have time. 1 I always struggle throwing different distance techniques without moving on a fix target (jab and uppercut at the same distance) . How can they both be effective? 2. Cross to the body . I was thaugth to flex the knees, to throw the weigth down, in order to have the shoulder at the same level of the target, since the shot coming from a high level to a low one are much less effective. What do you think about it? Thanks a lot
Personally I prefer using the 1-6 number system or the numbered combo system and splitting the combos with a defence or MMA setup. It takes longer for the mind to process the words and execute them as quick as possible. For example: 1--2 -slip 6-3-2- roll - 3b- shoot/kick/knee JAB-CROSS SLIP R. UPPER CUT - L.HOOK - CROSS ROLL L.HOOK BODY SHOOT/KICK/KNEE Example 2: finish with MMA OFFENCE/DEFENCE 1 kick (jab, kick) 2 knee (JAB-CROSS- SWITCH KNEE 3 SHOOT (JAB-CROSS-HOOK) SHOOT 4 SPRAWL JAB-CROSS-HOOK-CROSS SPRAWL Hope it makes sense to everyone and benefits everyone. Does anyone else use some sort of number system or method? I'd like to hear different drilling concepts from others so we can all share benefit different ideas. Thanks everyone
Hye Gabriel, I'm a SHOTOKAN Practicioner & currently learning MT/KB. Do you do Online Seminars? Hope you can do & present the participants some Recognition in the future.#KB/MT for OLYMPICS 👍🥊👨👩👧👦🌏
I watched your video about rotating the fist past 90 degrees, it made a lot of sense. Are you doing that in all your punches even in this video? It's a bit hard to tell. Thank you.
This helped a lot! I had the skills to do all the combos but I don't use combos often to keep distance with the jab straights. Great video Gabriel keep making more of those
Make total sens to me . Even as being a coach I never go beyond the 5 level for punch because I prefer to hit the body with my side kick, round kick or knee for more dommage. Its more a matter of choice for me.
With all these MMA vs Boxer debate going on around right now. How would a high level kickboxer like yourself would fair in a boxing match against a boxer with the similiar accolades?
Anybody have trouble with the curving punches(especially hooks)? I do fine with elbows and straight punches but hooks and uppercuts (and even roundhouse kicks) throw me off
In Isshinryu karate we're taught to punch down to the solar plexus, kidneys, liver, or under the left armpit, or exactly onto belt knot level (upper bladder target actually). Lowering yourself to punch the torso is often risky against a good kicker, although i understand why it's good for pure boxing.
What level did you make it to?
Should I make a similar video for kickboxing and then one for muay thai?
Please do another ones for kickbocing and muaythai

absolutely!!!!

kickboxing without elbows
I would love a video about clinching techniques and basics since there aren't as many as kickboxing techniques. Great videos keep up the good work! 😊
yes do clinching please
Dude your work ethic putting out these videos is crazy. I see why you became a champion
And he's clearly on the way to being an epic coach too. That's a pretty rare transition among top level strikers.
Your hand speed is incredible on those last combos.
Couldn’t see it lol
Finally! Something about Boxing!
I deeply appreciate this video Gabriel!
Will share this to my sparring partner 👍
for some reason 9 and 10 were easier to remember than 8 for me
THANKS, keep uploading these kinds of videos.
The combos in level 8+ finished me. Good work Gabriel 👍
This was great info, followed along punch by punch. Thank you for teaching me new things each video!
Short notice but breakdown and predict Paul vs Woodley if you have the time.

Unlike the kicks I'm definitely a beginner level when it comes to punching. LOVE the vids! This'll give me something to work on at the gym.
Thank you for the video.

Thanks much, what we are seeing in a few minutes have taken you and your team years to developed. You are an excellent teacher.
This is super valuable information!!! Thank you!
i would love to see a muay thai combo video in this style!! or at least a video that mixes punches and kicks together, as a beginner i feel like i struggle to throw anything more than single kicks or simple 1-2 punch combinations in sparring.
Maybe you are sparring too hard and are afraid to try new things
How long have you been training
I could do all of these combos. Som of them I was a little slower than you so I need to practice these more. Thanks for the great video
I only train at home and I'm so grateful for you Mr. Gabriel Varga
Dope! (That poor dummy😔🤣🤣)So strong!
I love these combo building videos! This helps a lot, because I am not super combo oriented. I need to be as an infighter though.
I would love to see some "leveling" video for southpaws!!
You could do the same from southpaw stance, right?
@@DikiBolz yea but what if opponent is opposite stance, most combos get nerfed to lead hand fighting.
I'm at a strong -0 level. So watch out champ. I'm coming for all those belts 😁
Great video, definitely will appreciate kickboxing and Muay Thai combo videos like this. Thanks a lot for the content, Great channel!!!
Great Video as always!
Made it through with one minor screw-up at the 3 rep in level 8 - will definitley be coming back to practice some more!
Its true its harder to do repeat left hook to the body because its hard to replace is weight back to the front leg so the last level is legit to me.
This was awesome , please can you do an MMA striking combo 1-10
Hey gabriel im struggle in change my bad habits ,its difficult cause all the time i use to throw some combinations in one way, usually the wrong way and im really paying for that specially in sparring , where its difficult get realized of your mistakes .
Good stuff! I almost thought you were spying on me with those last combos!! Lol Seriously I just had this kind of shadow boxing work on my fb story! I love it!!
Damn, 8.5. I can put it together, but my lead hand isn't effecient at all, needs huge work.
Thanks for a fun and enjoyable workout sir. 👌
These 10 level videos are brilliant. really insightful and enjoyable
Wow! Thank you for your clear and concise breakdown of the combos.
Very welcome. Thanks for the comment
Gabe might have some of the crispest technique I've seen. Def a master of his craft
Thank You for the video master
Next Up !! Combination Punching & Kicking level 1-10😁🥊👍💯
hey man in sparring im always getting caught with kicks while jabbing any tips to avoid this
Awesome combo's and clearly explained. I got to level 8. I'll try it again a few times coming weeks
great video!
Thank you for this videos Gabriel.Your channel is very insightful. Also I think it would be interesting to do a video about martial arts training injuries and pains and how to deal with them.I feel a professional fighters view on this would be very helpful.Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the amazing content! Every video I watched till now helped me unterstand my own weaknesses and how to work on them. I am very grateful!

Hi thank you for your content. Im a beginner but i recognize that your hook is wrong. Thumb must be up and not sideways. :)
Excellent content. Loved being able to also watch you leg movement when performing the combos.
I don't regret following you. Now I know I'm a sloppy level 10 😤🔥😹
Personally I prefer using the 1-6 number system or the numbered combo system and splitting the combos with a defence or MMA setup.
It takes longer for the mind to process the words and execute them as quick as possible.
For example:
1--2 -slip
6-3-2- roll -
3b- shoot/kick/knee
JAB-CROSS

R. UPPER CUT - L.HOOK - CROSS
ROLL
L.HOOK BODY
SHOOT/KICK/KNEE
Example 2: finish with MMA OFFENCE/DEFENCE
1 kick (jab, kick)
2 knee (JAB-CROSS- SWITCH KNEE
3 SHOOT (JAB-CROSS-HOOK) SHOOT
4 SPRAWL
JAB-CROSS-HOOK-CROSS
SPRAWL
Hope it makes sense to everyone and benefits everyone.
Does anyone else use some sort of number system or method?
I'd like to hear different drilling concepts from others so we can all share benefit different ideas.
Thanks everyone
🐐
I am really liking this series
Great video! Thank you!
Great vídeo Gabriel, please give us an update about you're next fight, I would like to see you fight again.

Great style of videos i love this series
Love these vids

Hey Gabriel, thanks man, you have got the nerve of your subscribers. Requesting you to make videos on same subject. Thanks!!!
Love it do a clinch one next 😊
Very good video.
Expert level 100 😏✊
Do one for kicks. Elbows/knees.
I lasted until number eight💪🥊
Make total sens to me . Even as being a coach I never go beyond the 5 level for punch because I prefer to hit the body with my side kick, round kick or knee for more dommage. Its more a matter of choice for me.
Surprised there isn’t more rotation around the bag. That seems like higher level parts
With all these MMA vs Boxer debate going on around right now. How would a high level kickboxer like yourself would fair in a boxing match against a boxer with the similiar accolades?
Any update on which fighting organization you'll be signing with next? Would love to see you in ONE
1 Jab 4 Right Uppercut 3 Quick Hook
Anybody have trouble with the curving punches(especially hooks)? I do fine with elbows and straight punches but hooks and uppercuts (and even roundhouse kicks) throw me off
Solid 7... I'm pretty Sloppy with 8, 9, 10
Nice.
hi Gabriel. i have been trying to find some of your MMA fights but can't find any. can you tell me where i can find it?
He’s more known for kickboxing but bellator is probably the place to look as glory doesn’t do mma
His record is on Wikipedia try searching for specific fights
1 Jab 2 Right Straight 3 Quick Hook
Eaaazzzzy
Question: why don't you change your level when you throw body hooks?
Lvl 10
10
Muay thai throws pleas.
In boxing, were taught to drop down low for a body cross instead of punching down. Is this taught differently for kick boxing?
It’s a but riskier because you can get kneed or kicked while changing levels but I think they do it too sometimes.
Thanks for clearing that up

Got to level 6
0 I'm terrible but trying :)
what a ratio 1000-0
That’s a lot of punches….
