Hi! It's in smooth calfskin but there is some texture to the leather similar to their liege leather! The scratching so far has been decent for my bag!

How's the strap, they say it hurts over the shoulder because of the hardware
You can adjust it so the metal part doesn’t hit the shoulder. I haven’t noticed any pain from my end and I have worn the bag with tank tops in the summer. Hope this helps 😊

How tall are you? Does is the fit?
Hi, I am 5’6” and it fits me well crossbody. It is also adjustable as well. :)
