  • This interview took place on March 8th 1986, for the occasion of the Third Annual Golden Awards Banquet put on by The Motion Picture Screen Cartoonists, Local 839, I.A.T.S.E. (now The Animation Guild). This set of interviews was done at Local 839’s former building on Lankershim Boulevard, in North Hollywood.     He worked on the same drawings as Japanese animation (Anime) especially a Japanese-American co-production film, Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland. George Nicholas' animation does the similar thing to Japanese, Japanese-American and Japanese-Canadian animators and other international animators of Japanese descent.

    At Disneys, George animated Jaq and Gus in Cinderella,
    Lady from Lady and the tramp, the fairies in Sleeping Beauty and I know he did assistant work on Fantasia. But I wonder what other projects at the studio he did as an assistant.
