hi, did you check the audio was ambisonic? youtube supports 360video with ambisonic audio.
audio on my 1"rs is reported to have low bitrate and only 2 channels
does it have inbuilt gps?
does it livestream?
can "oversharp" be turned off?
i guess dng8 will perform better than x3 because of "overdone noise reduction"

Nice review. The images with the x3 looked better with skin tone though from what i can tell. No video links to the 360 videos in description, just place holders, would be great to see to compare the two.

6:40 Were we looking at the same photo comparisons? Coz to me the Qoo's images look like a cellphone photo from 2014.
I have a problem with the recording sound being noisy, and when exporting video with phone the sound becomes slow, i use huawei p50 pro\

The Insta360 1 RS is great at low light but obviously much more expensive.
you on a Mac or PC? Im on a Mac and my file says missing metadata so I can't do anything with the footage, they did give me the camera but I have not had a response back from them yet

There is one thing stopping me purchasing ANY 360° cam and that is non replaceable lens covers. 1st one to make them cheaply replaceable, I'll be interested.
Hello mate ! i'm using Qoocam 360° since today but it's weird, my video SLOW when i export them . it's not "normal" speed . any idea ?

I also experienced the same thing, the recording sound became slow and noisy
i read qoocam 3 video codec in 5.7k is h265/10 bit/120mbit/s is this correct ? compared to insta360 x3 h264/8 bits/120mbit/s it seems a major improvement on the side of data quantity
With insta360 you can choose h265 too, dont know about the 8bit/10bit part but at this sensor size i dont think you will be able to see a diffrence there anyways

Anyways the only diffrence h265 makes is smaller file sizes theres no image diffrents neither for 8bit to 10bit or h264 to h265. Atleast not at this sensor size.
"Major improvement" is definitly the wrong word here
@@r00kiet80 at the same bitrate h265 is 2x more efficient than h264, twice the data means better details and color
@@amanieux but the files will also be half the size. It only saves space it cant magically make the image better. Or do you think if you set the x2 to h265 it looks double as good? Newsflash it looks exactly the same you just save loads of space.
The sensor wont output a diffrent image just because you change the codec. It will look the same just more efficently saved.

Keeping it simple saves battery life and heat. I can live without the screen rotation since I am certain it saves on camera resources. My brain can figure out what the screen is displaying, and I am using even fewer resources (oops, accidental self-deprecating pun?)
