  • Dehydration occurs when you use or lose more fluid than you take in, and your body doesn't have enough water and other fluids to carry out its normal functions. If you don't replace lost fluids, you will get dehydrated.
In this video, I discuss the signs, symptoms and some at home remedies to fix dehydration. It’s especially important to recognize the signs in children so you can do something about it before it gets worse.

This video was difficult to locate but well worth the search. I dehydrate easily even with adequate water intake so hearing your presentation and receiving the suggestions and recipes are greatly appreciated. I’m ditching the Gatorade anyway but had no substitute, now I do! Thank you!

Doc, do you think dehydration might cause some food sensitivities. For some reason, 13 years ago, at 50, I can't eat bananas, avocados, or even sometimes rice.

Because our Support Team is not medically trained, and we want you to get the best answer to your question, I’d recommend asking this question on the ASK DLG Show. They are every Wednesday at 8:30 am EST and you can find the show on Livingood Daily or on Dr Livingood's Facebook Page. He does answer questions that come in via text. If you haven't opted in already, use your cell phone to text the phone number 919-298-8080 the word START. Once you have opted in, you can text your questions during the Live show!
We always recommend if you have specific concerns with a pre-diagnosed condition and/or your medication that you consult with your physician. This also applies to changing dosages of your medication and discontinuing usage.
