85-year-old driver faces charges for running down BC teens over "Nikky Nikky Nine Doors" prank

The driver in what the police are calling the intentional running down of two Abbotsford teens could face criminal charges.
On Feb. 14, a homeowner’s camera caught a car racing toward a group of three teens before hitting two of them, followed by screaming.

regardless of what you think, they will kill you because when you are that old many are not worried about the repercussions for anything, I feel like not enough people respect the fact that laws are usually what prevents people from acting out against people who do stupid things, and when your an old guy and not worried about laws, many elderly people can actually be quite dangerous

It might seem minor but having them repeatedly frighten an 85 year old man by banging on his door like the SWAT team was trying to get in is Elder Abuse and that is a very serious crime. It’s a cruel thing to do to someone no matter what their age is. Someone else might have done worse.

My wife was hit by a drunk driver who went on a rampage and drove into a crowd of people. He was charged with 43 offenses including 6 counts of attempted murder. The judge felt it appropriate to be lenient on him because of the hardships his grandfather went through. He served 18 months. Indeed the justice system is a joke.
