MIMI, I made a size 18 top, and now making a size 24. I am finding with both tops that pattern piece # 2 is always two inches to short when sewing it to the right front. The. 18 was too small for me and made adjustments to right front facing when it was too late and the top is not good because of that. I notice in the video the pieces fit perfect. Don't know what is going wrong. My notches match and I am using the right pattern sizes. When I made the size 18 I should have used size 24 for pattern piece 2 right front facing, and it would not have fallen short. I actually place pattern piece 2 onto piece 1and it is 2 inches short to reach the bottom cross over piece of # 1. I hope this is not confusing. I suggest if u make the top; place the pieces together before cutting and make adjustments a the shoulder portion of pattern piece # 2. Piece 2 on piece 1 from the shoulder, and it should reach to first corner not bottom corner. This is a high/low top so the first corner should be a stopping point for hemming.

Are you just using a straight stitch on the knit fabric? Any tricks?
YES,, if you are using stretch material you should use a zigzag stitch so your material can stretch and not pop the thread
I have the same problem. The facing is driving me insane. I have unpicked twice now. Please help
the pattern piece number 2 is coming up short and I noticed it in the video that it matched up to the shoulder other than that I would enjoy wearing it I'll try cutting number two pattern a little longer and see how that do
