The Kings have allowed more, but now they get to play 2 games at home and I imagine things will only get tougher for the Oilers from here on out. Their defence is like a steel . . . sieve. By all means the Kings deserved to win this game, they just outplayed, out hustled, out worked, and wanted to win more. The Oilers also didn’t help themselves much, they definitely came into the game too high on themselves thinking this was going to be a cakewalk. Don’t EVER take ANY team for granted. At least out of this game I know that Hollywood is going to be a STUD.

Kopitar assists Kempe on 2 goals in the 1st, then drives to the net in OT expecting Byfield to make the play (even though that's a tough pass) instead of going to the corner. The guy has great awareness, if he could only play this way EVERY game vs. Edmonton. Not to mention, if this line plays like this every game, Edmonton is going to put their top d pair out every shift against them, which should open Fiala and PLD up against a shaky (depth-wise) Oilers defense. We can stick our top d pair out vs. McDavid & Hyman because honestly who else on that team (besides Draisaitl) is going to score more than 1-2 goals this entire series?
The Oilers dominated this game this one was on Skinner. The Oilers rubbed the kings off the puck like it was nothing. 3 goals Skinner should have had, any other goalie would have. They even were dominant on they were at a man disadvantage getting better opportunities than the kings 🤦

Yes, this sport is the closest to randomness of all the major sports. The puck hits a dent or bump in the boards, bounces off it a funny way and is what decides the game. Some could criticize the sport for this, but I prefer to admire the hockey players because of how hard their jobs are. They need to find method in the madness.
