- Delhi Mumbai Expressway was on our pending list for long. After our stay at Vadodara, we started towards Delhi. First we reached NE1 which is Vadodara to Ahmedabad expressway. We had an amazing experience to check top speed of vadodara to ahmedabad expressway. After that, we crossed huddles as the complete expressway was not ready. In short we have checked the latest update for Mumbai Delhi Expressway or latest update of Delhi Mumbai Expressway.
However, after cruising through the bad roads, we got opportunity to drive on Delhi Mumbai Expressway on Sohna to Dhausa Stretch or Dhausa to Sohna stretch. We have touched upon the toll expenses of Vadodara to Mumbai Expressway along with its latest update.

Umbrella and rain shoes is a must in rains
True, problem here was we forgot the umbrella in the car. So had to run under the rain to reach car.
In addition, from the place to car, I have to go multiple time with luggages, as it was 10 days trip, we had 2 trolleys plus 2 laptop bags + food bag. It was really difficult to load the car with luggages in heavy rain
Next time apko vadodara se rajasthan jana ho to. Aap vadodara-halol-godhra-shamlaji wala highway lena.. it'll be easy rather than takimg that himmatnagar road. Coz himmatnagar ke baad bohot hi diversions hai.. aur time bohot lag jata hai us road pe .
So its better to take vadodara-halol-godhra-shamlaji road car ki mileage ke liye bhi wo road best hai.
Wo ekbar liya tha in 2022. Is baar vadodara wala experiment Kiya !!!

Hi, we travelled from Mumbai to Delhi.
Since you are staying at Rohini in Delhi, you need to travel towards expressway and enter it from Gurugram and hit Sohna entry point.

Better than expected. Have been logging non stop long drives for last 1.5 years and it has been awesome 😎
Apply a Rain Repellant like Turtle wax or something really helps during rains
Had used rain repellent once in the windshield but faced a weird problem.
Advantage - for greater than 40kmph water used to fly away without whiper
Disadvantage - Whiper was not cleaning the windshield well, it was leaving white mark. Which went away after lots of wiper usage for approx 2-3 months.
Any recommended brand for wax polish ? Is that different from rian repellent
@@Travidiction not sure.. I just applied turtle wax clearvue on all windows and orvms and has been performing quite well in these Mumbai rains, now that you are saying will have to wait and see for next 2 months... Wax polish I am not sure...

Total fuel cost from Vadodara to Delhi
For you it will depend on many things. Like vehicle mileage, your driving style, where are you going in Delhi etc.
For us, it was around 7000
Does that mean only 300 kms is complete out of 1400 kms pertaining to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

2. Currently existing 80 to 100 KM stretch of Vadodara to Ahmedabad (NE 1)

Bro..From Vadodora ..its was better to take ..Halol..Ghalol Godhra ..Modasa ..Shamlaji..Udaipur Road ..Rather than..Ahemdabaad ..Himatnagar Shamlaji..Udaipur ..Its Long..
Had taken this route last time, during Ladakh drive. Remember passing by MG showroom. So, wanted to explore this highway. You are correct, that saves 100 km.

Both are good picks and same machine underneath with little tweaks.
Kushaq -
1. Increases flexibility for bad roads which higher Ground clearance
2. Gives you option to carry taller items with folded rear seats
3. Can fit in tight parking spots
4. Have a usable parcel tray
5. Better visibility due to higher sitting
Slavia -
1. Slightly better handling & slightly lower body roll in ghat sections
2. All 5 wheels (including spare) on Slavia are of same size - So you can rotate these 5 tyres
3. Higher boot space

From Vadodara, took NE1 to Ahmedabad and took the route to Udaipur, bhilwara outskirts of Jaipur and then took the Delhi expressway from dhausa

Ur Slavia is Petrol or Diesel?
1.5 Turbo petrol. Sad part is Skoda & VW stopped producing diesel !!
@@Travidiction Then how come ur car is touching 100 kmph speed @ 2000 rpm? I have Nissan Sunny Petrol 1500 cc, but my car touches 100 kmph speed @ 3000 rpm.
@@himanshugangwar7268 since it is Turbo petrol, above 1750 or 1800 rpm it gives power delivery equivalent to 2L engine.

Torque - 250Nm
Power - 150 bhp

Hotels are better option in vadodara
Lesson learned, we paid 4500 for this room. Could have easily got decent hotel.
Only thing they committed is 100 Mbps wifi connection which helped us to work from the place. Was not getting any confirmation from hotels for this piece.
