No to the feature that prevents other drivers from being blind, what am I going to do when some asshole in his truck turns on his stadium lights I can't blind him back.
They should bolt heathseaker or radar guided missile launchpad if you ask me.

The Headlights prevents other drivers only in auto mode. If you are in normal mode it makes other people blind :D

@@user-yu6ne6qb1c Safety and better visibility. Once you use a really good system, everything else seems like it's not lit properly. Though in reality, even a decent LED set without this system works just fine

I just know what a headlight of the new Touareg costs and thats 1900€. That's actualy pretty cheap... Xenon headlights are verry often more expensive.
@@Geazbeat for which model Xenon are more expensive? There is ton of "logic" inside laser headlights (including bending), where Xenon has only (optional) bending. Also you can replace xenon lamp or ballast if faulty, what can be replaced in LED lamp?
You don't have to choose the most expensive headlights ;)

Hope they still fit the EGR valve right down the back of the engine so it’s inaccessible and costs a fortune to replace. Best tech feature EVER

We hade a 2970 passat r-line now we have passat gt executive edition. Its looks like our old passat bur much smarter it has all the latest tech. so its big diffrents.

in most of EU countries predictive ACC is NOT available :) (speed limits and route infor - bands, etc.) . Of course, you found out this after you buy car :D
Looks great! Except in America we have some stupid regulations for how bright the headlights can be. And I don't believe the full led matrix system is allowed in here. If someone can prove me wrong, that would be great because I do love matrix led headlights :)

i hope navigation version can upgrade this time.. my 2015 b8 highline still using 2015 version of the map (europe) and our vw service saying still cant upgrade version.. (with money or not they still cant) - i can download it on the vw web site and install with sd card but im scaring if i can broke navi system :(
i just upgraded to Tiguan but i might go back iam missing my Passat SEL.

I would love to have one of these TDI here in the US, but as always the EPA ruining everything again.
They ruin everything they touch. Look at the new gas cans. They are almost unusable without spilling gasoline everywhere.

The thing i miss from pasat is that the back of the car is like a kinda bus while the early pasat ones had a kinda mercedes cla back that was going down ths qould have look better

Why does the entire front headlight have to switch off when you're indicating?
@ Yes, it is the law. But why don't car manufacturers space out the indicator from the DLR so that both can be activated at once? Also, why is the US so obsessed with blinkers and turning off other necessary lights for this purpose? They literally allow vehicles to use the brake lights as indicators. Sounds legit.
