  • On Paper, #HennaHairDye looks the best in the market. It got no chemical ingredients, there are no side effects, it's made of natural material, it's organic, and all that stuff.
    But why this isn't as popular as conventional box dye?
    Its long application process and limited color shades are the only things that keep people from using it. But that doesn't mean you will use conventional products. #Henna is a plant-based dye that can make your hair healthy, shiny, and hydrated.

    Our Vision:
    Our henna hair dyes were created & started with a vision to help people with sensitive skin & scalp, as most of the hair dyes found in major retail stores contain harsh chemicals that can cause lasting damage if used long term. PPDs, ammonia & SLS are a few to mention, these substances are no friend to anyone & could send you to ER if you are not aware of your allergies. With that being said, these compounds are not only harmful to people with sensitive skin, when absorbed in, but they are also one of the major reasons that cause skin diseases and breast cancer in women. We feel like we are contributing to a cause by developing, promoting natural products & spreading awareness of harms that are caused by chemicals.
    Our Promise:
    We source the finest quality ingredients from ethical producers around the world. We understand the need for hair & skincare that keeps its promises and is constantly in search of excellent natural ingredients to enhance natural beauty. Our product line is developed using the finest natural ingredients.
    Your Satisfaction:
    Switching to natural beauty products has been the latest trend these days and for obvious reasons, with so many skin diseases and cancer-causing ingredients that are being used relentlessly are a no joke to your health. All your purchases are covered by the money-back satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy, we won't be either!

      @Roberto [GD] I used dark brown. There are 2 stages. The first application is Henna color and turns your hair super red and then you apply the dark brown and it's a beautiful dark brown that has red tones in the sun. Dark Brown is amazing coverage for grey if you follow the instructions

    I used Henna for 45 years and loved my red hair! Eventually, my bio-hair went white so the Henna color looked very orange. I stopped a few years ago and used a regular hair bleach to remove it very easily and successfully. I really miss having red hair... I am going to try dying a human hair wig with pure natural henna... It may be a very costly experiment if it doesn't work well, but I think it's the only way I will be able to have my red hair again.... and... Old ladies are allowed to be eccentric, so I don't care what people will think of me when I wear a red wig...

      @@rashida7777 Yes, the natural Henna is wonderful, but on white hair it turns bright orange and not natural-looking also it is so much work to apply henna, to leave it on three hours and wash it out when I am 78 years old, it is just too hard for me. I did that from about 1973 to 2008. Then I gave up and bleached the Henna out. It looks absurd to have white hair growing out with white roots showing so I would have to keep doing it every two or three weeks. Henna definitely lasts a long time LOL. I came across some Burgundy henna so I thought I would try it out. Mind you, I'm used to semi-permanent chemical hair dyes that wash out in a month. Burgundy on dirty blond apparently equals orange and suddenly I became a carrot top.......and I'm staying a carrot top for months now as my natural color slowly grows in. Good thing I'm not too concerned about my looks. Actually, I love having unique and/or unusual hair colors but I'm kinda ready for this to be gone 😆

    I have never colored my hair before, so I'm grateful for the tips. I know henna is a different ball game than your typical hair dye. My question is could I blend the medium brown with the light brown? My hairdresser said I'm actually between colors, so I'm afraid of medium turning out too dark and the light turning out too light. I'm about 1/4-1/3 grey, so I'm at a loss which way to go. Thank you!

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys  Před 6 měsíci

      Yes, you can do that. But, you should strand test to see what the end color will be on your hair before applying all over. Typically, we recommend using the lightest color of henna first, as henna cannot lighten hair. If you go darker than you are wanting, you can't apply a lighter henna to lighten it.

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys  Před 7 měsíci

      Hi, henna does not destroy hair. It can actually help your hairs' health. Yes, all henna hair dyes will have a red tint to them, this is because henna is red and the main ingredient. Starting with a lighter brown and seeing how that covers your gray hair is the best way to go. If you want to go darker you can, but keep in mind henna cannot lighten hair, only make it darker. Yes and no. If you reapply henna within days of applying henna, it will make your hair darker. But, if you reapply every 4-6 weeks, you should get the same results as the first time. Henna will naturally fade some due to washing, styling and the elements, so when you reapply as a touch up it will only bring that faded hair back to life. You can also just do root touch ups which will only color roots.

      2-3 applications
      of what. Of just the brown or the henna and brown - the whole 6 hour process?

    • @andreaplummer3841
      @andreaplummer3841 Před 2 lety +6

      You don't add color to henna. It starts green but as you let it sit in the bowl and the dye releases, it then becomes a brown color. But every time you use henna for color, you will have to redo the whole process. The only difference would be if you are only doing a root touch up, you might mix up less henna. But the dye release time and the time it takes to color your hair once applied will not change. One exception: leftover prepared henna can almost always be frozen and saved to use later. (Some herbs that people add for other results can keep it from freezing well). If you have frozen prepared henna, you simply need to thaw and apply.

    Can you use henna over a previous non henna permanent colour

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes, you can, but the base color of your hair will determine the end color. Keep in mind that henna cannot lighten hair, so if your hair is dyed black or a darker brown, it will likely not pick up much color from the henna.

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys  Před 2 měsíci +1

      You don't need to apply oil if you don't want to. It's just a preference and helps to enhance henna. And we do not recommend washing with shampoo the first time. This come with detail instructions and you may rinse henna out with conditioner but need to let the color set it for 48 hours at least. After that you may use shampoo.

    I think your sentence is a bit confusing when you said with hena dye you can go from light to dark but never dark from light...well, isnt it that you go from light to dark? Therefore its not a "never" statement to say but "never dark from light" because "from" is where it originates which is "light" shade then goes to dark... so your logic was confusing when you said "but never dark FROM light"...
    You should have said but never "dark to light"...
