I love planners, highlighters, ball point pens, to do lists & anything else that gives me the illusion that i’m getting my life together. :) haha
The toxic friend tip is so true, made the mistake a few years ago of having a friend like that. Wasn’t that she was doing anything particularly bad, but I realised that she was constantly making a competition of our friendship (what did you get in this test, did you get this grade etc) and ofc it’s important for friends to push each other to strive for the best, but it was going too far making me too stressed and unhappy. Last year, we kind of stopped talking and I was far happier and more productive in the sense that I could measure my own achievements based on myself !!

Im kinda that friend. One of my friends are really good at school and I want to be good as her.I dont have a compatition but, I ask her help for school to see hoe good I can go. She is basically my goal, to be as good as her. And I ask how well she does all the time and she does the same for me. We'rr on good terms, sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo😑😒
i had the same exact same thing she verbally abused me in 2 years left me out then i had the courage to cut HER OUT then SHE TRIED TO FIGHT ME NO BBY NOOO lets just say she is back in her place im trying to get back to my normal !

any advice on time management? I have SUCH a hard time with this to the point where I feel like I get nothing done. I’ll come home and have a snack and sit for maybe 45 minutes I’ll go to my room and do the homework that I know is most difficult and then sit and chill and I go running and it takes about an hour and a half. By the time I’m done and everything it’s like 9!and I want to work on assignments that aren’t due the following day but either later in the week or in the next days. But I also want to manage a solid sleep schedule so I try to go to bed by 10 I feel like I can’t get enough done in the time that I have and it’s so tiring. Any advice?
caitlin You mentioned that you have a 45 minute break after you get home and something that worked for me was starting homework right when i got home. During this time I had more energy (compared to doing homework in the evening), and was more productive. Another thing you could try is getting ahead if you have a little bit of free time on the weekend. Hope this helped!🙂
I really really hope this year I get nicer people in my class because other years have just been so toxic and while I tried to keep myself away from all the toxic people that would slow me down I just found myself alone at the end. Do any of you have this problem too? Like there's BARELY any truly good people in my highschool I don't get it.

I’m usually the student that gives up halfway through the year and I’m super tired of stressing last minute ab grades so I’m very determined to stay on track and do my best even tho I like Netflix and drawing a lot more than school. This is super cringe but the only reason why I’m commenting is because I recently got back my GSCE results (idk but I think GSCEs are just a British thing) and I did surprisingly well and honestly obviously my teachers and family were a huge role in that but I think me binge watching every one of your videos really helped. This is one of the best back to school advice videos ever 💖 I remember having no friends thru middle school and the start of high school and I felt so horrible and dreaded coming to school. The moment I pushed myself to do different extracurriculars was when I felt my mood and even health experience a positive shift and now I feel so much better about going to school and even liking it (now, just to for those early mornings......). I absolutely LOVE your channel and I'll be keeping up with all of your content :)

I took a year off do to depression and anxiety. Sometime stoping to focus on a health mind is important to. But what scares me is if i can get back to focus on getting good grades. Watching ur video really make me feel i can over come anything

I guess one of the difficult things for me for finding your people is how you present yourself. I realized that big change when I entered a new course, I tried being that person that made people feel motivated, inspired even. But deep down, I still felt tired after the whole day, to the point of falling back into depression. So be real, I guess, no bushes to beat around, no false advertising, just that person who wants to grow. Thanks for your input in the vast arrays of tips, Brian. Hope to see more :) xxNick
