ADHD TIP Even though I am a voracious reader anyway, my ADHD does fight me occasionally. BUT I have now discovered audible narration on my kindle and omg I have just devoured a 5-book series on kindle unlimited ( The Harbinger Series) in a matter of days. I listen and follow at 3x speed and I am IMMERSED. It's changed my life in the space of a week honestly.
Omg what?! 3x speed.. I feel like this would be a GAME CHANGER for getting things down while getting through books?!! I really want to try this and see if it works for me!!!

i loved harry potter but I think only because i was their age when i first read the books. I literally grew up with harry potter (at least the german translations for timeline references haha) and I think that's what made it the most interesting. For me personally it only actually starts to get good around book 4/5, you can really see the story having more depth and is more thought and planned out than in the first 3. I'm 30 now and tbh idk if I could read them as a first timer now, but I think it's good to push through if you love the movies. the movies are great but the books have soooo much more info and depth and little details, especially the last ones. I think you could love them by the end of the series

Totally understand the thing with "AM I GOING TO SLUMP ALREADY WHAT TH-"😄 I'm interested if you want to try audiobooks too? It works amazingly for me, when, like, I would like to read, but it's so... slumpy😄 There are of course books that don't go well in audio (for the different reasons), also there's an issue sometimes with "i just don't like this narrator oh no", but in a whole I read more audiobooks now than e-books or print ones, and then if i like it a lot I buy a print copy, especially if I ✨feel✨ that i have to read it again, savouring more, thinking about it more, etc.

Magnolia parks felt so long for no reason, fourth wing is an okay book I gave it 5 stars because I enjoy books with a character development tries training scenes. I’m a bit sad that you didn’t enjoyed Harry Potter but I also understand I read it in my 16’ins till this day I reread and I have a cosy feeling so I understand. Good luck on your November tbr

Fourth wing is on my TBR this month too. You'll love the Chestnut springs series and twisted series! I recorded my reaction to the end of magnolia parks end of last month that I need to put on BookTok, but i also just finished daisy haites too! So good!
@@HalJones yes! Very fast paced with the writing. Magnolia parks there's not technically a plot it's very much reality tv drama with a lot of dialogue. But i love reading about flawed characters. Gives off Gossip Girl chuck and Blair for sure!

You should check if it’s on Libby or hoopla first and if it is then read it on your kindle!! Then if you like it you can get the physical copy!! This is what I need to start doing instead of immediately buying all the physical copies LOL

to be honest I would love a reading vlog about fourth wing + iron flame ( because I am really curious about your reactions :)) ). I am 52% through Iron Flame and holly hell... SOOO GOOD! I think you could do a full vlog for the romance ones and the idea of having a non spoiler review with a spoiler part at the end ( like in your last video ) is perfect, because that way we can see exactly what we need. But this is just me. In the end I hope you do content that makes you happy, cuz this is the most important thing here.
You should totally read the selection, it’s a three book series, but there’s like novelas in between and it’s literally love and love and love, it’s so quick to read and hella good. It’s about like the bachelor in a palace, but there’s a love interest that’s not part of the bachelor. It’s just so so so so so so so so good. Also! I love how you did a spoiler-free review and then you did a spoiler review of the october thriller books, I thought that’s really good and it gives something for everyone:) definitely keep it up! Loving your videos:) oh btw, if you want to get out of a reading slump, also read the ex hex, it’s a super easy just good vibes book (yes, it’s also a romance) and it’s about a witch that accidentally put a curse on his ex (that’s also a witch), but she thought she actually didn’t put a curse and then they met a few years later, and the rest is history. Really really really really really good book:)

If you read it ends with us be aware with this one especially chap. 14 you are in for a wild ride also with reading this you should read its companion novel it starts with us which its about what happens after everything that happens in it ends with us.

@@HalJones A companion novel is just a book that happens within the same world that the first book is set in but just with different characters and a different story and plotline. You can also see characters from the first book in the second which is why most of the time people like the read those types of series in order. Also most likely the main character for a companion novel has a minor role in the first book so people feel more attached for their book. Hope this helped!
@@HalJones Whoops totally used companion novel wrong my bad cause it means books that exist in the same world but with different characters. But with it starts with us you don't have to read it at the same time or at all it's just kind of a big epilogue of the characters and what happens after the big events if that makes sense. I do highly reccomend reading it though because you'll get hooked on loving some of the characters and wanting more because you also get to learn more of a background stories of some of the charaters as well
I gave Twisted Love a 2 stars. I see why people like it but it definitely isn't my type of book. In my opinion it is all spice and no plot whatsoever. The characters and plot did not draw me in at all. I am really interested to see how you feel about it so and I hope you at least enjoy it!!
I have Flawless, Twisted Love and Fourth Wing on my tbr too. I have read It Ends With Us. I thought it was okay. I thought the same about Verity. I feel if you liked Verity you will probably like It Ends With Us.
Rn I use Final Cut Pro!! But to be honest if you don’t want to pay for the software bc it is pretty expensive I also used iMovie for the longestttt time!!! You can do pretty much everything on there and what you can’t do you can look up on CZcams for ways to get around limitations if that makes sense!! Also for my thumbnails I’ve been using procreate, it’s honestly not too expensive especially for how good it is!! But if you want a free option I used to use the website PicMonkey and I believe you can do a lot of the same things and they have tons of cute templates and different things included in that as well! I hope this helps 🥰🫶🏼

The biggest difference is they’re a a lot more text options on Final Cut Pro but if you just look up ok CZcams they have tutorials on how to do so many things in iMovie (: I hope this helps ☺️
I was a little suspicious that you had ADHD when you reacted to the caffeine hit the way it did. I always take a coffee to bed with me 😊. Whilst I am most definitely not in the demographic that The Boys of Tommen series (Binding 13, Keeping 13 etc) was aimed at, I pretty much had the same ‘psycho’ response you did for the series you bought. Beside the trigger warning material, I love this rugby ‘centric’ romance. Get the Kindle version if you don’t want a heart attack at how chunky these books are. 😂
@@HalJones For some reason the Kindle versions of these books are 200 pages shorter. Keeping 13 is one of the first book to ever make me cry!!!! To make matters I was on the bus going home from work 🤪😂

@@HalJones yes! Very fast paced with the writing. Magnolia parks there's not technically a plot it's very much reality tv drama with a lot of dialogue. But i love reading about flawed characters. Gives off Gossip Girl chuck and Blair for sure!

to be honest I would love a reading vlog about fourth wing + iron flame ( because I am really curious about your reactions :)) ). I am 52% through Iron Flame and holly hell... SOOO GOOD! I think you could do a full vlog for the romance ones and the idea of having a non spoiler review with a spoiler part at the end ( like in your last video ) is perfect, because that way we can see exactly what we need. But this is just me. In the end I hope you do content that makes you happy, cuz this is the most important thing here.

You should totally read the selection, it’s a three book series, but there’s like novelas in between and it’s literally love and love and love, it’s so quick to read and hella good. It’s about like the bachelor in a palace, but there’s a love interest that’s not part of the bachelor. It’s just so so so so so so so so good. Also! I love how you did a spoiler-free review and then you did a spoiler review of the october thriller books, I thought that’s really good and it gives something for everyone:) definitely keep it up! Loving your videos:) oh btw, if you want to get out of a reading slump, also read the ex hex, it’s a super easy just good vibes book (yes, it’s also a romance) and it’s about a witch that accidentally put a curse on his ex (that’s also a witch), but she thought she actually didn’t put a curse and then they met a few years later, and the rest is history. Really really really really really good book:)

@@HalJones A companion novel is just a book that happens within the same world that the first book is set in but just with different characters and a different story and plotline. You can also see characters from the first book in the second which is why most of the time people like the read those types of series in order. Also most likely the main character for a companion novel has a minor role in the first book so people feel more attached for their book. Hope this helped!
@@HalJones Whoops totally used companion novel wrong my bad cause it means books that exist in the same world but with different characters.
But with it starts with us you don't have to read it at the same time or at all it's just kind of a big epilogue of the characters and what happens after the big events if that makes sense. I do highly reccomend reading it though because you'll get hooked on loving some of the characters and wanting more because you also get to learn more of a background stories of some of the charaters as well

I gave Twisted Love a 2 stars. I see why people like it but it definitely isn't my type of book. In my opinion it is all spice and no plot whatsoever. The characters and plot did not draw me in at all. I am really interested to see how you feel about it so and I hope you at least enjoy it!!

What are you using to edit your videos and thumbnails, I’m starting a booktube as well and am trying to find the best editing software ?
Rn I use Final Cut Pro!! But to be honest if you don’t want to pay for the software bc it is pretty expensive I also used iMovie for the longestttt time!!! You can do pretty much everything on there and what you can’t do you can look up on CZcams for ways to get around limitations if that makes sense!! Also for my thumbnails I’ve been using procreate, it’s honestly not too expensive especially for how good it is!! But if you want a free option I used to use the website PicMonkey and I believe you can do a lot of the same things and they have tons of cute templates and different things included in that as well! I hope this helps 🥰🫶🏼

The biggest difference is they’re a a lot more text options on Final Cut Pro but if you just look up ok CZcams they have tutorials on how to do so many things in iMovie (: I hope this helps ☺️

I was a little suspicious that you had ADHD when you reacted to the caffeine hit the way it did. I always take a coffee to bed with me 😊. Whilst I am most definitely not in the demographic that The Boys of Tommen series (Binding 13, Keeping 13 etc) was aimed at, I pretty much had the same ‘psycho’ response you did for the series you bought. Beside the trigger warning material, I love this rugby ‘centric’ romance. Get the Kindle version if you don’t want a heart attack at how chunky these books are. 😂
