Michael "Nicko" McBrain is one of the best (If not THE best) and most talented heavy metal drummers around, one of the reasons is he admitted that he and other members of Iron Maiden have made mistakes while either on stage or in the recording studio, and they all help cover their mistakes, which is why Iron Maiden have been together for over 40 years. He is a very humble individual.

Randall Martin, it's not too bad using only one bass drum, coz he use to hit double bass with the help of double feet sticks techniques. There are a lot using only one of the two double bass drums. But, the sound of double bass will be easily heard & listened . buddy, that's called , Nicco McBain's technique .
