      Well, what can I say. We’ve made it to retirement the boring way…saving & investing over 7 years. Not high earners but now worth almost 4M

    Thank you for the concise and to the point update of the elements that mainstream media and the likes don't focus on.... I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $240K for some time now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies ... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions

      Just try to diversify your portfolio to other market sectors, that way your portfolio is balanced and you don’t get to make so much losses.

      @@generosityliveson I couldn't agree more, dabbled in stocks at first 2019, but sold off like every other amateur early 2020 due to the pandemic crash, shortly afterwards, I got fully invested using an advisor this time, my portfolio has maintained balance growth ever since, and as of today, I'm barely 25% short of hitting a 7-figure ballpark goal after subsequent investments.

      @@generosityliveson A coworker once proposed the idea of diversification to me, hopefully for positive results to offset any negative performance. Thankfully I backed it up using professional guidance in order to avoid mistakes, and I can attest to the success of this approach, seeing my portfolio grow from $185k to almost $400k only this year market opportunities... maybe you should do the same.

    Danny, your top 10 list of ETF’s. Would you recommend those when opening a custodial account as well? And could you make a video about opening custodial accounts and what ETF’s you would recommend if different from this video?

    • @DannySully
      @DannySully  Před 10 měsíci

      I can not say exactly but being more aggressive may be better since a custodial account should ideally have plenty of time before touching any securities. That's a great video idea, I will add that to my list to start working on. Thank you!

    Nice video. I have a fidelity account and I have $1000 on my Roth IRA account. What index fund would you advise to start with as a beginner as I want what I would just buy and keep adding money to it every month .

      Thank you! And unfortunately I can not say exactly. Based on your question, I do think either of these videos could help you out greatly though.

    What's the benefit of bond funds over money market funds? Money market funds seem to be more stable and occasionally (currently) have decent returns

    • @DannySully
      @DannySully  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Bond funds can be bought on any platform. Good points you have mentioned though!

    All this your 8 favorite vanguard ETF do you advice buying them on fidelity as I don’t want to have two accounts and I don’t want to open vanguard accounts

    • @DannySully
      @DannySully  Před 5 měsíci

      I can not say for you, but you do not need to open a vanguard account to buy the etfs. You can buy them on your fidelity account. I actually own Vanguard ETFs on my Fidelity Brokerage Account. Hope this hopes!

    How do you automatically contribute to ETFs? I had some in my portfolio with Vangurd, so how do i contrilbe to them montly?

    • @DannySully
      @DannySully  Před 7 měsíci

      Hey, unfortunately I am unfamiliar with Vanguards platform. I know many platforms like SoFi allow you to easily control it. I would suggest doing research on this. I know Mutual Funds on Fidelity do and assume that on Vanguard as well but am unsure about ETFs. Please let me know if you find out and sorry i just don't have experience on Vanguards platform.

    I'm not a fan of US stocks because I don't think the US government is stable, I know many of the top US companies are scummy and they got pretty high inflation because their government likes to print. And if I don't like a company then I prefer to not fund them.

      You make good points, that defines the risk investors are willing to take when investing in them for the potential return (not guaranteed). What are some of your top recommendations?
