Tina and I were in Venice back in 2014. Loved it! After our 83472342 hour flight (j/k) we were advised to stay awake in order to adjust better to local time. Our first outing after getting to our hotel was Murano and Burono. Loved both islands. Being Catholic we of course loved seeing the ancient buildings, churches and artwork that have been there over the centuries. Thanks for sharing!

Oh man, just to have the opportunity to get lost in Venice. Amazing. So much to see. Perano is so cool with all the cool colored houses. 😂😂. Says something that they figured that problem out. 😂😂 9 people population. That is too funny. The food is what we’d be all about. It looks so good. The wine tour seemed so fun. What a great time.

We are headed to Venice later this month and I have been watching a LOT of videos over the past year. I give you both an "A" for a great job of covering a lot of information in an enjoyable video! We are also Ohioans (just a little south of Dayton/north of Cincy) and will be following your upcoming adventures with interest!

The mayor of Venice has announced plans to introduce strict controls on short-term tourist rentals. He has announced that the Italian city will try to limit short-term rental options. He said that the city needed to fight not to lose its soul. Brugnaro said that the city centre had suffered from depopulation. “This must also be the city of residents, students and those who want to live there all year round. We will win this challenge.” The population of the central districts of Venice has decreased from about 76,000 inhabitants in 1991 to 50,000 in 2022.

Pearl wants one of those little glass gondolas in the glass shop. Those islands looked not as busy. Did not know about those islands.
