The fact that he came from humble beginnings in Ohio and hasn't forgotten his roots there was far more impressive to me because it shows his humility and that goes way beyond the game of football.

He has become the Cincinnati Ohio's dream quarterback for the Bengals, which has been a long time coming. I admire his grit and the true enthusiasm for the game. Along with being humble and never forgot his roots as a young man, he is headed to become one of the great quarterbacks we have come to see. I am so proud of him for becoming the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, i just can`t wait for next season to begin.

As an LSU graduate from 1975, I'm proud that Joe Burrow represented my alma mater with class and dignity during his two years there. But even more important than that, he's a good guy who has never forgotten where he came from, and I suspect that will keep him grounded in whatever Life throws at him in the years to come. In other words, he can handle it.
He benefitted from having NFL-quality receivers at LSU, he never had them at Ohio State. Also, half of his offensive line is starting in the NFL. He made the most of what he had.
He would've had the starting job in Ohio if he didn't break his hand
Have you seen some of the guys drafted to the NFL that were receivers at OSU? Michael Thomas, Paris Campbell, Terry Mclaurin, KJ Hill, etc.
I’m not only a die hard Buckeye fan, but also have become a Joe Burrow fan, because he is real, down to earth, cares for the poor, and has shown that if you believe in yourself, and stay positive, keep working, no matter what anyone says, or thinks about your abilities, you can win the Heisman trophy, National Championship, other awards, be the #1 draft pick, and play in the Super Bowl, for home state Cincinnati Bengals, and now be admired by millions of fans!

Joe Burrow is awesome and one of the best QBs that I've seen in a long while and he plays in the game with his teammates in the game he doesn't just throw the ball he plays in the game to make a point for the team I love the fact that he is supporting his home town to feed the hungry. I live in a poor neighborhood too so I know how it is to be poor. And I love his honesty as a person and a great young man. I will be watching the game with my friends. Playing at OSU wasn’t his dream AT ALL. He wanted to play at Nebraska but they didn’t offer him, so after Urban Meyer and OSU offered him, he couldn’t say no. Most of these “unknown facts” about him are actually very well known and full of inaccuracies. And it’s not difficult to actually find this info online. Very disappointing video.
