One of the most refreshing vids I've seen ever on utube. I loved Lara's review, enthusiasm, and skill. I hope we see more of her.
Cheers Ian, she'll be pleased to hear that...
She talks about her subjective experience of the bike, how it feels it wants to be ridden and how she gets along with that, which is exactly what I want motorcycle reviewers to do. I don't need someone to give a hot take on the spec sheet, because I can read Ducati's website myself. I want to watch videos of people who like riding bikes telling me what they think and feel about riding a bike.
Awesome review. She’s got just the right blend of skill, rider stoke and a great command of language. Crushed it!
Great bike, great presenter - well done all involved!
Cheers TMF!
Lara and Chris are by far the best reviewers out there. Please keep up the great work !
Michael Neeves from MCN is my no.1, but to each his own.
I love Lara's reviews. Several others released the Diavel videos, this is the only one I watched. Great job.
Absolutely love Lara's reviews!
What a refreshing review. More about the experience of riding than reading of a spec sheet. Well done. Now where's my credit cards!?
I love that bit of logical reasoning at the end: that the Diavel is really sort of a bargain when you realize you’re getting three bikes in one :) That’s the spirit!
loving the cheerful presentation
It's not surprising that flicking it left and right again and again puts a smile on your face...
Nice job, good to watch someone who could ride and speak proper language at the same time ✌🏻. Greetings from Moscow, Russia.
Great bike and great natural review, and love the laughs and giggles. More like this please lol
Lara being awesome again. Scraping pegs was a particular highlight. Approved. 👍🏻👍🏻
What a great reviewer you are. Love the take on the design aspects. Please do more.
I hope y'all noticed on the 2up videos she's riding the bike and he's sitting back there 🤣well done sliding that in there.
😁
😂
Great review, good balance of informative and riding/opinion. Want one!
Glad you covered the pillion ride position. That's often neglected.
Hate the thought of using a toothbrush to keep the rear light clusters clean.
Great review, thanks🤗
The more I look at and read and watch videos about this bike the more I like it
that exhaust design is crazy!!
Great review Bike World one of your best!
So the new V4 Diavel is like peanut butter on toast! Brilliant! 😂 Great review! 👍
Another amazing review Lara! Congratulations on holding back a little and not blasting past the rest of the pack! 🤪 Seriously, a fantastic review speaking in plain English, with bucket loads of enthusiasm, just the way I like it! 😁🙏 Oh yeah, the Diavel, I can’t wait to ride the 2023 V4, I loved riding the 1260 S and like you was surprised how well it handled. Well done Ducati! 🎉
Great review! To the point!
What a great review! Clear, informative, enthusiastic and helpful. Well done. I had one of the original Diavels back in 2011. This is making me want one again. I’m only 68 so what’s to stop me? 😂
Great review. Lara is a natural.
Nice job you peaked my interest and I’m a sports bike nut
I loved her review and her way of presenting it. She wasn't trying hard, she was being herself. And those giggles were the icing on the cake.
Mint review!!! I've just watched the 44 teeth one too and you both share a proper enthusiasm for this bike that is really shown on camera. Deffo a bike you buy for the feels too.
Cheers!
Great video 👍🏼 awesome bike ! I love me a Ducati !
Great job guys, nice piece of production all round. 👍👍

Love it, keep it rolling
Great review. Could have been a bit longer too. I'm certainly tempted to test ride one of these.
Looks good but it needs a help on the exhaust sound,Im sure it will howl then!Great review,Lara👍
Daaaamn, she was throwing the bike and moving around the seat like it was a sport bike. I’d be nervous, great riding!!
A brilliant review. Thanks to the BW team.
Nice work!!
Haven’t seen anything from you lately
Having watched the other first ride reviews of this bike, this is my favorite by far! Awesome job Lara & Bike World! I'm totally sold on it. Ducati should put you on commission. Now to check down the back of the sofa to see if there's £24k lying around....
Thanks
Thanks Bike World team, a superb review of a very unique awesome machine
definitely a looker :) great review
Mint video Lara, great review.
I have an urge for a Diavel - it’s not really my bag but I think I need a test ride!
Cheers Wil and honestly, try it - I’m so surprised at what it can do!
Shouldent the gyroscopic forces be the same? But it can help to keep the front wheel down during acceleration.
Great review 🙏
Great review.
👍 Great review on a cool bike.
Hopefully you and Chris will teaming up to produce some videos
Thanks, we have some things planned.
Excellent review
Great review 👍
Dope
Wow I'm Impress
Love Lara's reviews! Do something fun with Chris please, I'm sure it'll be a fun video to make and watch 😉
Thanks, we do have some stuff planned very soon.
Great review and video! I'm sure my local dealer will have one to demo ride this summer!
Lovely review 👍🏻 The bike is stunning in every every angle to my eyes. Ducati has done a great job and your review certainly boosted my interest even more. I do wanna try it hopefully soon 👌🏼👏🏻
are we know for diavel S or Xdiavel come with v4?
Yea baby good
2 see
This is the first review I've seen from Lara. Great work, loved the enthusiasm, you really took me along. Nice riding too. Oh, the bike's not bad either 😁
Oh my god, what a road! 🤤🤤🤤
The tail lights are a nice touch, but for me personally i much prefer the look of the Ducati Streetfighter V4
Very lucky girl. Great bike to ride and what a location. Gee.
nice ride
I was down the mountain when you guys were ridin!!!
Cool, I bet they sounded good.
@@BikeWorldTVshow Indeed they did.
What is the top speed of it??
Absolutely stunning machine, especially in Ducati red. As a big guy (heavy and tall) I think the long wheelbase and wide stance would really suit me. Sports bikes are out of the question for me, but this bike looks like a great fit for bigger riders.
Might be a bit out of my price range, but given the rave reviews it's getting I think I might have to test ride one......
Small correction at 04:48, the Diavel has 93 ft. lbs. or 126 nMs of torque.
Nice windshield 😜 definitely you will enjoy riding specially 100km/h plus
Interesting comment at the end about the bike suiting different moods. My current bike, I either love it or hate depending on my mood.
is there optional forward controls?
That would be the Xdiavel, for this Diavel I don't think so
Personally I think a bike like this works better with the raw lumpiness of a big twin, but still a great review. Loving Lara's presentation style.
Oh god!
refreshing
Hello Lara from the States! If I may ask, what is your height/pants inseam? As a 5'8" rider, I'm wondering if the Diavel is too tall. I'm considering this w/the BMW R1250 R. Thank you for your review!
It would be wonderful if your team could get your hands on a V4R for a track review. I know the R is a niche bike (and thus no big press launch), but it would be great to see your review of it.
Oo, first review 🙂
I am intrigued by this bike. However, I can't help but think that this is a fancier yet inferior Yamaha VMAX. At least this is available though. I'm glad the Italians are bringing four-cylinders back in vogue; now we just need a new F4.
This presenter is one bad ass lady
Thank you for an enthusiastic test.
Unless I missed it, I didn’t hear how many bikes I’d have to sell to get one.
All your bikes plus several internal organs!
@@timh6845 plus your kids and house equity release.
We don’t usually cover the cost Nick, the vid goes out of date very quickly. We can tell you that it’s £23K though.
Cool bike, screaming for a decat with that giant bread box.
What boots is she wearing? Anyone knows, please?
Sidi Adventure 2 boots 👌
@@Laramoto Lara I love your review style, do they offer higher peg sets? As I'd be scrapping full on. I think I'll stick with my '21 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR at 2/3rds the price & sounds heaps better, even std pipe.
@@DukeOfTwist no change to pegs but you can adjust the pre load a little to help with clearance, or hang off a little more 👌
@@Laramoto Thanks, I might wait n see what differences are on the future S &/or SP. ;-)
@@Laramoto Thank you!!!!
Small mistake on the front brake calipers. Should be 4 pot instead of 2 pot.
Yep, we've told her thanks.
me likey
Would love to see you review the Multistrada Pikes Peak please? 🙂
$30k for a bike that was $22k five years ago.
Folks, most reviews of this bike have people giddy , literally. Im on the market for one. I’m actually torn between it and the Streetfighter. I’ve been on both. Both incredible, but, I plan on longer drives
Waiting for the X version
If I ever get silly rich it'll be one of these for me
They do a nice black cover for the exhaust now. Thank goodness. €800, only a cover
Nice review, but the bike has 126Nm of torque not 96Nm, it does have 93 lb ft though :-)
Thank you Kevin - good spot!
Hello from Scotland
Hi!
Loving your videos hope I get to your level one day keep it going 👍🏻
Keep it going mate...
Nice front design!! But the exausht muffler is weird... I prefer old diavel muffler.
Great review - but I'm not sold on the V4; especially when the 1260 S is cheaper with better suspension?
I own the 1260s and I've ridden the new V4 and I can categorically tell you that the V4 suspension is better.
Great vid, really nice presentation. I did not know I wanted a Diavel until I watched this. Also a tip for next time, little Chad goes on the back not you. ; )
Thanks for watching - and yeah, I’ve had to think twice about the Diavel too! Hehe Chad is on the back… 😂
I would love to own that bike! Awesome review. I'm skeptical about the cylinder deactivation though. I've seen it cause lots of issues with car engines, not keen on this technology invading the bike world.
3:00 Hang on, is that supposed to be a good thing?
Get rid of the exposed frame in place of molded plastic is considered a good thing now?
There is no moulded plastic where the trellis frame was, it's now exposed engine. Nearly all bikes have moulded plastics and some have full fairings. The Diavel does have a steel tank.
👍🤪🇨🇦
It's not diavel. It's diavel. 🤣
Is it still as stiff as a wooden plank on the rear suspension? Any improvements there?
Complaint and sporty - no issues for the road laps I did. Would have to see what it’s like on a long ride but tbh Ducati extended the travel on it, I found it plush enough, yet I knew what the back wheel was doing 💪
Kinda looks like a Monster with a back that just can''t catch up to the front :))....
Don''t get me wrong, I wanted to buy one last year, so I love it's looks.....and the bike.
🤢
🏍💃👊🏻🤙🌹👈
Where is Chris Northover?????????
He’s in Portugal on a Bike World riding trip.
4 pot calipers
Yep, we've let her know...
Good spot 💪
Only 44 teeth and bike world make me watch reviews on bikes I never want to own 😂
Bike works???
@@BikeWorldTVshow auto correct 😬
@@DaleMt09sp 😂
Bike beautiful but sound should be like a muscle bike not a scooter
What jeans is she wearing? I need to get something new for my girlfriend.
Spada huggers 🤗
Ducati is moving in the wrong direction for the everyday working man or woman or them. As published in MCN 24 Nov 2022 "To discuss the new additions, MCN sat down with the firm’s Head of Design, Andrea Ferraresi, at the Milan show, who confirmed Ducati doesn’t plan to make ownership any more affordable any time soon…". With the cost of their bikes and astronomical servicing costs, in my opinion, they are way beyond the common person. And please don't say they only need a major service every 37,000mls, because that means either the 2nd or 3rd owner is gonna take the hit on a second-hand bike! Yer yer yer, you've got PCP, but that's a trap people haven't realised yet, plus it's about the most un-green commercial facility ever invented. You could buy a KTM, though, and sit and look at it while you wait for the recovery truck.
Were they ever for the everyday person?
I understand where you're coming from but this is a DUCATI your talking about. They're meant to be the Ferrari of motorbikes, exciting, exclusive and special, and unfortunately that comes at a cost. I own a 2014 Hypermotard which I will have to do a Desmo service on in about 5k kms and thats some I'll have suck up. It's just part of owning a Duc. I have considered selling it for a Japanese bike but I just feel like it would be a downgrade and nothing other than a Triumph or KTM would have the same x factor.
@timmo3351 Good point.
@@ironzep Yer your right, I just don't like having diamonds dangled in front of me when I'm chained to a wall.
@@mrflores7708 So what you’re saying is that every product, even clearly premium ones, should be available to everyone? That’s not how life works. Whining about not being able to afford things because you don’t earn enough is pathetic.
