I actually thoroughly enjoyed the conversations between Theo and Chris. I would love to see this become a regular part in Chris’ videos even when not sponsored by Movember. I think it’s touching if every couple videos he’d pull a guest to the side and just talk to them about their life.

The chat between Theo and Chris was so nice to see. They banter quite a lot in their videos but it's good to see the friendship behind it.

That beginning chat with Theo honestly brought me to tears. I also suffer with OCD. To know that not only another person, but one as seemingly good-hearted and kind as Chris can also suffer with something like it takes weight off my shoulders and probably that of many others. Thank you for doing that Chris and Theo, I want you to know you're helping people in an immense way. Not many will use a platform like the one of this channel to put out a powerful message to help others, so you have my full respect. Fantastic video bro, well done!
❤❤❤
Your not alone their are people out there to help ❤ 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌
I know this sounds like a cliche self diagnosis, but I am almost certain I have ocd. I overthink for hours on end, sometimes even lasting the entire night and making me be unable to sleep. I have to arrange different objects in a specific way or else I physically can’t carry on. I overstudy for every test I take once again to the point of not sleeping sometimes out of fear that if I don’t I’ll fail. I don’t really know how to proceed it’s affecting my daily life in a serious manner

So much respect to Chris for opening up like this, I hope he's okay, and also I think Theo was the perfect friend to speak too
The chat between Chris and Theo was brilliant , good job lads
That intro was exactly the kind of content this generation needs Chris, as someone working to be in the mental health discipline, thank you for taking time out of your video to focus on that.
the whole video was for it
Chris, mate. The start to this video means a lot to me. Too many guys I know have taken their lives because they didn’t think they had someone to talk to. It’s massive for you to show you (mostly younger) audience that’s it’s okay to open up about what’s going on in life. Lots of us grew up with male role models that taught us to bury our emotions and man up, this newer generation has so much potential.
men need to man up sometimes. especially in today society.
@@Rose.............the fact you’ve commented on all of these, 10 months later, screaming about how men need to ‘control their feelings’ and ‘man up’ makes me think your masculinity is a little bit fragile to think you can’t get through life without letting yourself feel. it’s okay to have emotions, man. it’s okay to have bad days and whether you think it’s a waste of time or not, what truly makes a man is choosing to keep going everyday
@@Trials_MEDIA i never said dont let yourself feel. i said don't let how you feel affect what you do. we agree. it IS okay to have emotions, but they shouldn't matter. and the reason i have commented a lot on this vid is because I'm very passionate about men being strong, and CONTROLING emotions as the media tells young boys to be weak. please realize that controlling emotions is very very different than concealing them or bottling them up. no man "feels" like running into a burning building to save people, but we do it anyway. because we are men. we have a job to do. and that job is not to be weak.
Honestly, if you just started every video from now on, with a quick heartfelt chat with a mate, I'd never skip an intro. It's just a really nice change of pace.
really proud of you chris to be apart of movember
Absolutely vital that more people continue to speak about mental health especially with creators your size that can help both spread the word and remove the stigma too, fantastic way to start off the video with a great message
Our king Andrew Tate said depression isn't real
The fact that you made a decision to open up, not just with your good friend but us as well, was an incredibly brave decision and I hope it sets the standard for this community.
someone who suffers from OCD too i really appreciate Chris speaking out about this. I havent told my friends and sometimes its pretty tough to keep fighting by yourself, think im gonna chat to my mates next time about it, and im sure thats down to this video. So cheers Chris
Lads, thank you so much for spreading more awareness for this important cause
You have a huge audience of young lads, so opening up about your own difficulties and showing yourself sharing that with your mates, really fantastic stuff chris.
04:08, can't stop crying rn... Oh gosh.... that hit hard.
Spent 7/8 years suffering with all sorts of mental health issues and never really being able to enjoy myself or my life, my life was so dark, like I had nothing to live for or be proud of - just felt so useless. 2017 was a good start mentally, started raving + clubbing, festivals + venues, was doing well by self-teaching myself self-love/care, 2020 struck + my hard work just disappeared.. lost my job, lost friends, stuck indoors with no festivals/raves. 2023 + I still have those days were I feel useless + not being able to enjoy my life and with my money issues recently I've felt like I've not been able to enjoy my life again.
But seriously this little dmc + your videos, laugh, shorts etc have brought me so much happiness - you all have really. Haven't laughed so much in a long time !
Keep your head up and keep going on strong! I realised myself too that everyday we've been blessed with by waking up, either it can go For you, or against you. It's all in the mind + you decide how the day goes. smiling at people, helping around the house, meditation, exercise, socialise etc.
and another point is, even when we feel low we just need to remember this is temporary, Just like the sun shines during the day, and eventually it will set, & again in the morning it will rise. That's with everything in life. So no matter what keep on going, head up high and remember.... you're a warrior at heart 💪🏽
Nahh, the fact that in the intro he says "for my colleagues" and Ethan pops out
Bro predicted the future
Bro was I the only one who loved this style of video I genuinely just wanna go to a pitch now and kick a ball around with my friends 😂😂
This was fantastic. I loved the difference between the chaos on the pitch and the calm, vulnerability with Theo. It’s powerful, showing you can do both with the same people
Chris, I don't know if you'll ever see this, but you've genuinely been a huge inspiration in my life. I started watching you during 2020 and COVID and genuinely, your videos have helped me so much mentally. Just to have a laugh or even a more serious discussion about self-improvement like this video, it's been great. No matter the video, you always make it quality. I think Theo is right, you've really changed in good ways over this past year and I can't wait to see wait you'll do next. I have nothing but respect for you opening up about your own struggles, and I hope you continue to well mate. 🙌❤
That chat was great lads. Huge kudos to Chris for speaking up about OCD and feeling comfortable sharing that information with millions of people - huge stigma around it which leads to a lot of people not speaking up about it, myself included. Class lads ❤
Wasn't expecting this from the video at all! Which probably shows how unnatural two lads having a heart to heart is these days. So important, thanks for speaking and opening up guys
I have A LOT of time for this intro. Props to you and Theo for opening up about this, problem shared is a problem halved ❤️
every day nearly for like 3/4 summers, I used to go out to my local park and do this exact thing, heads and volleys and cuppies, took it all for granted as it was the best days of my teenage years and how we all could let it go, cut the shit and take the piss, was a pleasure watching this Chris, it'll have hit WAY more people than you think!
Thankyou for bringing this up. We need to speak up more and open up to people about our feelings and what we’re going through. Hopefully this helps more of us start doing so.
love the effort chris puts in to his second channel

Big ups for raising awareness on such an important topic. Well done being able to speak about it on camera as well. Great job!
I’m really late to the party on this but this video resonated with me massively.
As someone who has struggled massively with anxiety and panic attacks since covid began, I have often felt isolated and all too often end up in a spiral .
Like you Chris I’ve had therapy but also even medication. Both of which have slowly improved me.
I gained the confidence to start work again after a lay off of almost 3 years, and though I’m not fully recovered, I feel like I’ve turned a corner.
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, hearing this has actually really helped 😊
Thought the opening was going to feel forced, was actually really touching and means a lot to us who are struggling, you’re a champion ❤️
Big respect for this guys. Genuine masculinity is being able to open up like this. Love it, possibly the most important thing you've ever done Chris. Mad props for leaning into this essential message so hard.
I have OCD (Its horrible and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy) and am currently having CBT therapy, the therapy is going well and I have finally got a grasp on my intrusive thoughts and I am learning to control them and control the compulsions, thank you Chris for opening up about this because it is really hard to open up about this condition and you are scared of being judged etc, amazing video mate!
I absolutely loved the start of that video, and props to Chris opening up like that cause I know personally it helps a lot knowing your not alone and its ok to be not ok
Loved the chat between you both. Felt great to see such a big channel openly talk about it. Someone like me has considered advise and help in the past but always doubted. This gives me confidence to go through with it. So big thank you Chris and Theo. 😊
Great video, wholesome chats with the boys. Started seeing a professional this year for thoughts similar to yours Chris and found out I had OCD, ruminations etc. OCD is not just being clean and picky, theres many different types and its great to see someone with a massive platform speak on it and spread awareness!
That intro was important to guys everywhere. Thank you.

Hey Chris I really appreciate this kind of video, it has really opened a can of worms and I’m thinking of doing this with a couple of my mates, just to really understand what they’re going through and if they are going through anything and just be there to listen. I really loved this video, I watched the entire thing with a smile on my face, it’s really good to put men’s mental health in the spotlight as it’s not really worried about these days and most men suffer i silence, so I appreciate you and Theo talking about everything that’s going on. Much love Chris, from Australia ❤️❤️
I love this more of this.
Just two guys taking a walk talking.
So authentic and real. Love it.
The Chris and Theo chat was brilliant. Inspiring and eye opening. Well played lads 👌
What a brilliant video. Awesome that you're using your platform to talk about mental health. And even better that you've dedicated so much of the video to it, not just a small segment at the start/ end!
could genuinely watch a whole video of you just chatting one on one with the boys. massive respect
Loved the chat at the start, the most down to earth thing I've seen on CZcams for a while, felt like the type of deep chats I'd have with my roommates while walking places, love seeing that side of CZcamsrs, respect for sharing
Love all these boys but that Theo & Chris chat warmed my heart. Love you boys
Theo is just such a nice human being
Chris mate this is one of the best videos I’ve seen all year, you’re a hero for actually coming out here and starting a conversation about this keep it up man!
Chris mate, I understand how you feel because I also struggle with overthinking. I have phases where I am fine but then I also have phases where I go round and round in my head about the same sort of things that I know is not true but my mind and thoughts can't help but think it is. It's very mentally draining I find and it's something that I have had for maybe 2 years now. It's nothing serious but it is something that I struggle with sometimes and I did see a counsellor for a couple of months for it so I was really pleased to hear that you had it too and you were able to sort it because that shows that no-one is fine all the time and it's important to admit when things are not ok because I don't always say but I realise that it is important that other people and I do. For anyone else struggling with overthinking or issues with mental health, you are not alone and you can get through it if you surround yourself with the right people who are there to support you and it's ok to speak up and admit what's going on because that's a step in the right direction. I know this is long but I just want everyone to know that it's important and you are not alone. ❤
What a wholesome video Chris and Theo are heroes glad to see they are just like us
That's exactly what I thought, we forget sometimes they are normal human beings just like us
Man this video was absolutely banging. Honestly been a huge fan since long but this was something special.
Absolutely love, love , love this !! As a mental health first aider at work seeing this has made me so happy, spreading the word about it’s ok to not be ok, and that just having that one on one chat can make such a huge difference. Overcoming the first hurdle of mental health is the hardest, but having a great support network changes everything. Much love my guy love the openness ❤
I hope Chris realises how many people needed that chat with Theo and does it more often.
Fun fact: Chris has uploaded more in the past 2 weeks, than in the 11 months beforehand
Arguably the best video you've ever made mate. Really great energy and very real conversations, cheers for being honest and encouraging this sort of talk between mates.

Well done Chris! A really important topic that’s not spoken about enough. I’m sure this video will encourage others to open up and talk
Great start to the video man, vulnerablity like this is needed from people with platforms, i love it man, good luck with everything!
Showing your audience how to talk to a mate & how much You open up is a really, really cool thing to do. I initially thought it was gonna be a bit & am so glad it wasn't
Wow I also have been diagnosed with OCD and it sucks how media portrays it to be a perfectionist thing or like a choice. No it’s miserable and ruminating and having intrusive thought and over thinking every little thing is like living in hell. It’s awesome to hear you speak about it Chris. It’s not easy but glad u did it
any tips how to cope/deal with it?
@@czparta5936 I’m not gonna say it’s easy. I’ve had it for many years but got officially diagnosed 5 years ago when it was at its worst. Getting diagnosed was a big help to me because it allowed me to seperate the OCD as myself. I also have learned to somewhat ignore the thoughts by reminding myself that OCD lives off of attention, it wants to torture me so it could live on, and it manipulates my thinking so that I perceive myself to be a bad person that is not worthy of help. Just seperate urself from the OCD. If things didn’t worry u before ocd and suddenly ur worried then it’s just ocd trying to get ur attention. Distract urself when this happens so that the thoughts get silenced for a bit. Once you have done it so many times u then have evidence that it is possible and it’ll make it easier in the future. I also take medication, sertraline was a big help to me, it made the thoughts occur less and when they did occur I wouldn’t get strong negative feelings, thus making it easier to get them out of my head. The only negative thing about sertraline is that it made me gain weight, that’s one of its side effects, so rn I am on cymbaltal to see how the works. I also saw a therapist for a while to help me learn CBT and ERP procedures and that also helped.
So to summarize, get diagnosed, try medication, receive therapy, and learn to identify the OCD thoughts and let them go. Obviously all of these are easier said than done, but just know things will get better. I have been in the lowest of places where I didn’t know what the purpose of living through this suffering is, but I just thought of my family and people I loved and was able to push through and things did get better. Good luck, and feel free to communicate with me more if u need.
@@dracodaym715 Thank you, also psychological kinesiology helped me and meditation. I also hate the way people who dont have see it as. Hope we all get better!
Myself personally never really considers all our favourite CZcams lads actually having to deal with day to day struggles. Really great to see that everyone’s in the same boat and that everyone has each others backs
Thanks for the opening up on life segment and idea. I’ve felt that once you finish school, or education you lose a lot of friends with how life goes on. Nothing malicious, but you all drift away and it becomes hard to have people to speak to when you’re feeling low.
These past two years, or past year mostly have been so hard for me and I’ve wanted to speak to a friend about it for so long but I’ve felt so restricted and lonely at times. I’m hoping next time I see one of my close friends I can speak to them about this and feel better about myself.
I just want to also say thank you to yourself over the years. I’ve watched your channel(s) grow from the early days, seen you grow from collabing with Kelly and Ollie to Ronaldo and Fabregas. But your videos recently have been so good. Seeing you share your personality in more explicit videos makes every video seem so much more freeing and I can sense that and I’m sure yourself making them is an even better feeling.
Thanks for all the content and motivation you’ve produced over the years. Only recently do I feel consistent and motivated to live my dream on this platform and I owe a lot of it to videos like this.
Sincerely, ChrisMD best ever goals X3 creator
I would say this is one of your best videos, Chris, especially the play in the first game was incredible. The volleys were wonderful but the main component was a wonderful message and I’m very thankful for that. Great job.
Best football CZcamsr. Just a bit of constructive criticism here, I would love for you to upload just a little more even if the videos aren’t to your standards. The banter with your mates is the best part of the video and I would love to see you all meet up every once and a while and just play fun games like in this video. I love the content and admire how you have grown as a person , and hope you keep doing as well as your are right now , if not better
When you see two friends like this talking without the world of CZcams staring at them, it makes you realise that a connection between pals can be more than what it seems and that anyone who cares will stop and talk about their feelings. Well done to Chris and Theo for doing this and showing to the world it can be as easy as they portrayed
I loved the chat at the beginning..
It's so wholesome having someone to talk to
I’ve literally watched this video over 30 times already because I love the message and seeing friends genuinely having fun on the pitch
This is why we love Chris, content is fantastic in every way
That talk at the beginning was genuinely such an amazing interaction, that even kind of helped me put some things into perspective. 👏
Best start to a video I’ve seen in a long time, it’s great seeing these conversations from people with large followings because it shows them that you’re human.
Sometimes people idolise what they’re shown, rather than the whole picture.
This was such a different type of video and I really enjoyed it. I would really like to see another one made.
Just recently got introduced to all of these mates and this is by far my favorite video. Feels like im a fly on a wall just watching a bunch of friends hanging out. By far the most enjoyable video.
This is something I’ve needed to hear. Been going through a lot lately and this just made me think about a lot. Brilliant video 👏
I really enjoyed this video. How you talked about your problems, the importance of friends, and ofcourse the football! Keep it up
Honestly, Chris, I relate SO strongly to the overthinking, and how it comes from a form of minor OCD. It's a constant bombardment of beating yourself about beating yourself up, trivial, but hurtful thoughts that are so quick that you can't stop them, and just finding ways to be unhappy, when really everything around you is going well. It makes such a difference to know that you feel the same. Thank you so much for putting this out there.
EDIT - to add just a few more thoughts - You articulated yourself so well about the topic, it summed up the absolute exact feelings and thoughts I was having. Particularly relating to having no religion, so always framing everything to what it means for my entire life (ie. I should be making the most of every second of it, and not doing so is a bad thing). Also the thought spirals, and being able to recognise that you are in a tail spin, and pulling yourself out of that negativity, and how the best way is just to recognise the type of thoughts, and know that they don't need to be held over you. Again, it makes such a difference to me that someone I am such a fan of is able to sum up the exact motions of my life and mental health. I would be really interested in the techniques you use, and how you manage it all. Thanks so much again.
not finished the vid yet but seeing them play games that me and mates used to play and still do all the time down on the football pitch is really nice, great vid chris keep it up!

@@movembertv I couldn't agree more. Thank you for being a part of the mission to get this message out there.
Great wholesome vid, seeing these 2 games unlocked a core memory from lunchtime football at school and playing hours in the park
I've struggled with anxiety for years now and it's becoming easier and easier since being in therapy and becoming more open about how I feel. Before I had seen this video I decided to go see some friends I haven't seen in a while and we went to the pub to watch football, we caught up and I can honestly say I feel so much better for it. W all need to talk more and recognise the issues we can work on. Love the video mate
Massive shoutout for making this content! It's huge for blokes to be talking about this stuff, and you stepping up and doing this is top class!
Fantastic video Chris 👏🏻 thank you to Movember for making it happen because it’s rare we see anybody on CZcams open up like this unless it’s in a podcast.
Love that you talked about such an important issue so openly and I think it's extremely important to talk to your friends honestly from time to time.
I really liked Paddy Pimblets speech about mental health awareness basically saying "I'd rather have a mate cry on my shoulder, than go to his funeral" and I think that's something especially us guys have to realize and get better at.
What a talk the two lads had in the beginning.
Chris, i feel you my dude.
Trust the process time genuinely heals. One morning you'll wake up and be completely self aware to distinguish which thoughts are yours and those that are intrusive thoughts. Just stay on the road you are and trust the process. Some days maybe good sometimes maybe shit, haha. But you'll see light at the end of the tunnel and trust me bruddah its the end of the tunnel and not an oncoming train, lol.
My favorite vid on CZcams, loved how they incorporated the childhood games but also made sure the important message of the video was shown
Everyone tells you "Talk to a friend, tell someone how you feel"
Whereas these guys showed you how to do it, and a start is a start.
Which is incredible
