Most Jews have heard about “Lashon Hara”, or evil speech, but few actually understands what does it mean. What could be so bad about the words come out of our mouth that the Sages said it is equivalent to all other sins combined? Why King David said (Tehillim 34:13-15): “Which man desires life, who loves days of seeing good? Guard your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.”? So if I guard my tongue, I could actually merit to have both this world and the world to come? Can what appears to be simple few words destroy my relationship with HaShem? If there are so much on the line, of course we need to learn about it.
Learn with Rabbi Lev Leib Lerner, digging into Sefer Chofetz Chaim and Sefer Shmiras Haloshon, follow the holy teachings of Chofetz Chaim, guard your tongue, live as a righteous Jew, and BeEzrat HaShem, merit to have the World to Come.
