People need to hear this and understand how important it is to feel safe to talk about how we feel without the fear of being judged because of our feelings. I have had lived my life always feeling different or misunderstood or not even heard. Please be kind to each other and be open to listening with your heart to the people close to you. Just listening could save someone’s life.

This song hits different for me I loss my cousin in law to suicide in January of last year. He suffered from depression for so long and he couldn’t take it and ended his life. This song needs to be plastered everywhere

Doesn’t feel that way when you don’t inside though right? Do me a favor? Try. Just hold on a little bit. It’s what I’m doing every morning when I wait to find out if I can get into a study for treatment. Last hope you could say. But I’m going to try and keep holding on. I think you can do it too. I too have struggled with feeling isolated (for yrs and I am 22 yrs old) I am familiar with what it’s like to be at your lowest point (having been a victim to depression, diagnosed with OCD, Panic attacks in the Pat since my anxiety was out of control cuz I wasn’t on Serotonin Stimulant Inhibitors or antidepressants. I was very ill at the time but am now much better from that dark hole 🕳️ where I was. I had suicidal thoughts and even suicidal ideations cause you just want the emptiness and pain to cease somehow when nothing else seems to working out. But fortunately for me I let those around me who I felt trust toward know and was able to survive. Cause depression and mental illness is a battle, I mean your like lucky if you make it out alive and sane. Many people say being a survivor is like overcoming a traumatic event or recovering from Cancer but so is not letting your biggest fears control you and stop you from living your given life. GOD BLESS YALL and I can’t wait to hear more of your songs and what you’ll sing to us next as AGT Season 19 (think 🥴🙂↔️) continues on! I saw this on AGT and I just started crying when they sang their song. My heart goes out to u & ur family on the loss of ur mother. I can relate to u. My mother had mental illness & I'm dealing with issues/stress and I feel like I can't talk to certain people because they don't understand or they think I'm weak. I talk to God. I tried to get others to hear me. Because, it's a lonely feeling, when the people you thought would understand You, DON'T!!!😢

I loved coming to your family farm for Yeehaw and seeing the amazing way your Mom & Dad, grandparents and all of you created such an incredible experience for others. Your Mom, was a vibrant creative and beautiful woman and your Dad, the warmest bear hug giver. The pain of hiding the one unseen can be so exhausting and I truly feel for all of you in the deep loss of your Mom. I know this type of journey myself with one I loved too. There is no pain deeper and joy will return in its own time. And will rise to a new beauty. I saw them on AGT and this song hit home because I know that situation very well when a family member has mental illness... The early am pacing through the house and the self-chatter. I lived with and through that for years and they are right people back then didn't talk about it... Gigantic thumbs up for writing a song like this.
Being an OTR truck driver your worst enemy is yourself. Mental health is real as I am learning more about it everyday. Talk to someone! Everyone has demons and if left unattended to they win. Don't let them win.
You Matter & are Worth It
Truck driver here as well. No longer otr but still putting plenty of seat time in. We have a lot of alone time in the truck. Anything that was bothering you at home just builds and festers in the truck. Then you have extensive time away from home. You miss a lot. I missed much of my children's youth. Sure, they have a good life as a result but mentally it was hard. Add in traffic, dumb drivers, crappy shippers/ receivers and you have a perfect storm for mental health decline. It is a hard job. People just don't understand. I myself started focusing more on keeping the stress down. I slowed down and started trying to enjoy the travel, sights, and the experiences that otr brings. Sometimes I miss otr. If.you need an ear I'm here to listen. I was fortunate to have a senior driver do the same for me years ago. Nobody understands better than somebody that's been there. I am 13 years deep at this point.
Never heard of them here in the USA until AGT, amazing duo. Great songs, haven't heard one bad song yet. I hope they win.

Wish this song had been around 5 years ago as I honestly believe it would have ‘spoke’ to a great friend who unfortunately didn’t know how to talk about their struggles and killed himself.

i lost my father 7weeks before i was released from prison. i was gone for 4 years and my dad and i talked all the time and we were planning on my home coming. he was waiting for me, im his only child....he had a stroke and that put me in this tail spin of fear and panic...he pulled through with gods grace...and then he had a massive stroke and we had to respect his wishes and let him go. that has swept me off my feet and im still trying to find my way back..to home. im here but im really not...not anymore. YOUR SONG IS BEAUTIFUL AND IVE SENT IT TO MY KIDS AND FAMILY. its made me feel again and i thank you so much for that. you have opened up my ability to feel again...thank you god bless you, sarah
